> 3 dayBeing a fool and wanting an external, I of course bought an internal drive. I decided to keep it upon discovering my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 16-a0xxx had a slot for it. I watched a youtube video to ensure I could open the case without ripping any ribbons or ruining the computer. I unscrewed the plastic housing HP puts in the drive bay, and simply plugged this into the spot. It took me about 15 minutes in total. The drive has been flawless but you may want to google what file system to format it with your current setup. I didnt have to make any BIOS adjustments, but am only using it for file storage and not OS installation. I have not done any speed tests. Bottom line. I opened my machine, uninstalled the plastic block, installed the drive where that block was, selected what file format to use in the device manager, and was done. So far its doing its job flawlessly. Good luck to you.

> 3 dayWow! What a difference this made going from my mid 2012 MacBook Pro with 500gb hard drive. Booting up takes about 3 sec whereas either the old hard drive it took at least 30 seconds. This runs the MacBook faster and way more smooth. I can honestly say well worth the price to revive an aging MacBook Pto.
