One of the Best SSD on Market. Works great on Apple MacBook Pro

I bought this SSD a couple of years ago as a spare for my laptop. I had been having software update issues with Microsoft Windows 10, so when I had a good update, I would clone the laptops drive to a spare SSD. If an update failed, I always could go back to the spare.

I used this hard drive to replace the HDD in an old computer that was pretty sluggish. It now boots very quickly, programs load fast.

I think this was my fourth samsung 870 I’ve purchased and installed. Never had an issue with them. I’m sure there are less expensive alternatives but I prefer known reliability. Great upgrade for aging laptops, quick and easy swap with the Samsung data migration software and a basic usb to sata cable(not included)

Works as intended, my case made it difficult to install but for anyone having issues look up at YouTube build guides for your specific case

Weather you buy Pro or Evo, or in between, the Samsung SSD is the best on the market. Zero issues over hundreds of drives. Super speeds, including a 10x boost using the Samsung Magician software. Buy 1 size larger than your actual needs to enable the performance boost suggestions.

I tried so long to get my system to recognize this HDD that I blew right past the deadline to return it. Its been weeks of trying different methods, third-party utilities, and I am just done. No matter what I do, this SSD will NOT initialize in Virtual Disk Manager or with any other tool. SAMSUNGS OWN SOFTWARE DOESNT RECOGNIZE THE DAMN THING.

Screenshot is the results of the Default profile tests. Cant really ask for more from a non-NVMe SSD. Price could be lower, though.

VERY easy to install
