> 3 dayThis bundle comes with a nice variety of wheel brunches. At the price of just under $22, it is worth having. Helped to remove rust off wheel hub, which was just what I needed.

> 3 dayI often have to “refurbish” things around the house because living in Florida is no joke with the salt water/humidity. These things have done wonders with tools, outdoor metal objects, and anything you put them to use with. At this price I expected a few nylon pieces flying off…nope, all kept intact to the piece. Even taking off mildew from a piece of wood was easy. This is a very nice set to my collection of tools to use for my needs,.

> 3 dayGood for household use. For the kind of odd jobs around the home they are great, for real tough jobs go with wire brushes.

> 3 dayI purchased these to sand the dirt and soft wood fibers off some live edge Maple for a vanity I am making. The bark was stripped and I wanted something that would keep the original contours. The red (100 grit) works well and did a great job. Both the Gray and Blue deposited something on the wood that darkened it. Im sure they will work well on steel or something else. Good value.

> 3 dayThese are a straight forward kind of product, so much so that they came with zero packaging, just a box of brush wheels, but they get the job done and that what matters. I needed to remove some rust from a pipe and these worked great but I did have to used the most abrasive one. Im glad to now have these on hand as Im sure additional scenarios where I can put them to use will present themselves.

> 3 dayThis set of useful sanding tools contains brushes of three different sizes and three different roughnesses. These robust brushes are made of twisted steel wire coated with different colored nylon and abrasive grit. In normal restoration, work is started with the largest and roughest tool that is applicable and proceeds to the finer and smaller tool to clean up scratches made earlier. Abrasive roughness is graded on a scale of the screen mesh that would pass the stated grit. Coarse construction sand is 40 grit and auto repair finish is created with 400 grit. The normal order of usage of these tools would be grey brush, 80 grit, red brush, 120 grit followed by blue brush 240 grit. In practice these brushes cut more aggressively than labeled because the bristle tips have fine steel wire projecting from the ends of the plastic covering. As the plastic wears off, the effective grit approaches single digits. The hex shaft is particularly handy as it fits into flex shaft tools. The hex shaft allows counter clockwise rotation without loosening the chuck. I plan to continue using these brushes for restoration of steel auto and boat parts. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThe package arrived half-opened in a very, very thin cardboard box, with no information, no instructions, warnings, or advice; in fact, there was nothing in the box except the 9 wire brushes. Not an auspicious beginning. I ordered these brushes to help with several cleaning/maintenance issues around my 75-yr-old home: cleaning the grout in the bathroom, scrubbing some old stains on long standing basement sinks, and cleaning some corrosion off old pipes in the basement. Each brush warns to be sure to wear safety goggles when using - an important warning. I would add that you should wear gloves as the bristles on these brushes are strong and could be an issue to exposed skin. Fortunately, these brushes seem to be quality made and hold together pretty well during use. I’ve read that other brushes have a tendency to come apart during heavy use and that the wire bristles fly off too easily. Obviously, with steel bristles moving at high speed some of them are going to fly off, but (wearing protective clothing/glasses) this was not a problem with these brushes. They worked well and the stains, corrosion, and grit (on the grout) came off fairly easily and with minimal damage to both the brushes and the areas I was addressing. Overall, I am pleased with these brushes and would recommend them. My only negative is that they were packaged poorly with no instructions or advice on how to use properly.

Greater than one weekThese work pretty good. The nylon bristles are very stiff. They definitely have different stiffness levels for the different brushes. They remove debris well. They aren’t quite the same as far as performance compared to a wire brush but close. They also have a huge plus side, they are much easier to handle without getting poked and losing blood :). These do work well. I don’t think I would replace my traditional wire brushes, but complement them with these. These definitely deserve a place in your tool line up.
