Like many other users, write speeds have dropped dramatically. From the testimony of other users, it seems that Sabrent blames Windows, even though it was working fine at startup. It is not a problem that the WDs or the Samsung suffer from.

For anyone that owns a PS5, I cant recommend this enough!!

What can I say brought this to compliment my WD_BLACK SN850 2TB NVMe SSD. Was easy to install, remove the original NVMe cover insert your new ssd into the slot and replace this cover/heat sink with the original. Saves all the hassle of finding an NVMe with heatsink that fits into the PS5.

Sat in a PS5 for a month and had no issues.

Fast as advertised, just need to figure out how to clone it. Cloning it with using USB NVMe SSD adapter requires to create “simple volume” on a drive in Windows 10 in order to work. (for those unfamiliar how to create simple volume-go to windows search, type “this pc” to be added to your start menu. After that click on Windows icon in left lower corner, then right click on “this pc” go to “more”click “manage” then click “disk management” right click on your new drive and Windows will create simple volume. Now you are ready to clone with acronis sabrent software)

If youre adding another hard drive to your PS5 this is the heatsink you want. Fits perfectly, runs cool, and looks great.
