This is the best of the best, with TLC now the only option, theres no reason not to go with this, if you can work with the price. I’ve never been let down by Sabrent, but never try any of those “Q” SSDs, they peddle, especially for reading and writing a large quantity (I.E. gaming). Heads up that this is the only one that actually meets the PS5 requirements, the other gen black and gold reversal and white and gold SSDs 4 DO NOT. It it hasn’t been confirmed as comparable, with but my moneys on this being on the list Sony puts out, heres hoping gen 4 SSDs go down in price once the PS5 can actually expand storage come summer, otherwise you’re basically buying another console to expand storage.

Installation was very easy. Before I saw this product, I bought an NVMe SSD with a preinstall heatsink. That SSD was not cheap. Then I saw this heatsink and decided to return the SSD w/heatsink. I ended up getting double the amount of storage on an NVMe SSD without a preinstalled heatsink for the same cost as one I returned.

I have equipped my AMD 3700X/ASUS X570-Pro machine with on4e of these Rocket plus drives as the system drive and a slightly older just plain Rocket drive as my work drive where work files are kept. Then I have 2x Silicone Products M2s (but not PCIE Gen 4) plugged into a pair of PCIE slots using a Sabrent enclosure. All of these are 1TB.

Ich hatte mir nach Empfehlung diverser Internettests die Rocket 4 Plus 1TB für meine PS5 bestellt. In diesen Tests war die Lesegeschwindigkeit immer zwischen 6500 und 6600MB/s.

Perhaps its my laptop, but I could not get these to operate reliably. When they work, they work well.. when they dont, they prevent my laptop from POSTing into startup.

Great design, there are so many heatsink options for the ps5…glad I went with this. Much easier than i anticipated.

In hand you can tell the materials are high quality. The design allows for maximum cooling and heat dispersion. Very easy install on the PS5. Highly recommend.
