I would have a no-star had that been available. This is pathetic. Changes in local are the least of the faults. Politically-correct mixed couple to complicate matters and, I suppose, attempt to make a statement (this, however, has nothing to do with my rating. as do most remakes of classics, this doesnt cut it, not even barely; it is infinitely worse than the remake of Psycho, which followed the script exactly, several decades ago. To make this short, it has no class. No actors with the personalities of people like Farrow, Casavetes, Blackmur, and the steal-the-show Ruth Gordon, not to mention Elisha Cook, Jr., and Ralph Bellamy, as well as the very minor incidental actors (I think Maurice Evans was one). Any one of these deserved an award. The set itself was perfect--based on a decrepit New York Victorian apartment building, aparently modeled after the Dakota (where John lennon would be later shot). Save your money, every penny, as well as precious time, and buy a DVD of the original.

I actually like this so much more than the original. In the original Mia Farrow is just straight up annoying. This version is so much better. Cast is perfect and story moves along very well. Highly recommend

Not a bad movie, just slow going. Good acting decent plot. Needed to be fill witj more action and drama.

I can watch this movie over and over again. Be glad if they make another series to it

Pretty decent remake

One of my all time favorite movies is the 1967 Rosemarys baby. I usually dont like re-makes much, but they did a really good job this time. They switch the plot a little, but the essence of the movie was kept. Loved it!

I very much enjoyed this series. Unfortunately for me, I read the book, as well as saw another film version of this story (novel), and could not help comparing. This series was entertaining and visually pleasing, but it never truly scared me, which is what I was looking forward to. Still a good show though. The actors did well.

Casting, acting, plot adaption, use of setting were awful. Visiting creative writer with unfinished book is appointed Chair of English Department--not even a pact with the Devil could accomplish that!
