This is a great piece. Getting two if them is perfect, one being in the freezer as you use the other one. Very versatile can be used in a lot places around the body being in gel form it stays soft can be wrapped around things.

I have sciatic and nerve issues on the left side of my body that also affects my lower back. I bought the two pack and I am able to use one to ice my back, upper thigh, as well as the side of my hip where there is inflammation. I use a second one on my lower back and sciatic nerve area. Because of the size I am able to hit all the key areas at once and with the folds, it can wrap around needed areas. They are durable, so I do not have to worry about it breaking. Just a great source of relief in the mornings and then evenings after work. It has helped decrease pain, so that I can go back to working on correcting some of the issues and not be hampered with exercise stopping pain. Of course it is not a cure all, but it is a helpful tool. Great quality.

5/1/2023 Update #2: These continue to hold up well and have been used more then the normal person would use them. To say they get cold is an understatement, and they hold their cold for a long time. Most people dont ice all day every day, but often I have to. They do the trick! I would not hesitate to buy them again. 10/17/2022 update: I contacted the company about the one pack that was leaking. They were a little slow in responding, but they did apologize for that. They sent a new pack right away, and this one seems fine so far. I absolutely would recommend these packs. And kudos to the company for not hesitating to set things right. 9/27/2022 contacted the company several days ago about this product, and have yet to heard anything back. 9/21/2022 I have now had this product for 10 days. It still works wonderfully, but what I noticed last night is one package (I have not been able to inspect the second one thoroughly), actually has two little cuts(?) towards one of the bindings. That means as the pack thaws, the gel oozes out. Im in Ortho rehab so Its not exactly convenient to buy products let alone send them back and my husband threw away the box already.(Its not a box youd actually keep around normally) I really do like this product. And I may be able to fix the bag once I am with weight bearing again. Just please inspect your bags thoroughly before you throw your box away. Being in the mix of things medically speaking, I didnt look at them overly close and my husband just tossed them in the freezer. Hopefully, I will find that these hold up a very long time. I have more ice packs than the normal person and Ive never had this occur before. Some of them, are a good 15 years old. I just normally buy them off the shelf at Walmart though vs buying online. I hope this is just a freak thing for them. WOW! I am so impressed! Who knew there was a really great ice pack out there! Not only was it priced reasonably, but it only takes about 2 hours to get cold! That is a huge bonus when you have to ice for weeks, and many times a day! Not only that, is the cold lasts a LONG time! When you are recovering from surgery, that saves a lot of strength in getting up and down for a fresh pack! It is flexible to fit around my hip. I wish had these years ago!! They also look like they are made very well, which means they will last for a long time!! Thats a big deal for those of use with lots of ortho issues! Dont hesitate to but these! AND NO...I didnt get them free. I paid full price.

Works great! Retains the cold temp beautifully, >1hr still cool. Initial placement is almost too cold and I need a thick or double towel layer plus clothes on to tolerate but I LOVE IT! And it’s durable for when I forget about it and step on it or squish it with something heavy. Only thing I would say is a strap to better hold in place would be nice but after surgery I wasn’t moving much. LOVE IT!

These packs are well-made and durable. We had some old ones from Rite-Aid that were made with thin plastic. The plastic tore and gel lakes or all over the place. These ones have a cloth shell and I expect them to last a long time.

Exactly what I needed. In the evening, my head gets really itchy and hot from meds, and I wanted some thing I could slip into or put on top of a pillow. This was the perfect size, and works beautifully. Rather than putting it in my pillow, I ended up putting it on top of the pillow and just putting a certain towel over it. Once it’s been out of the freezer for a few minutes, you can squish it up And it’s not hard or unyielding. That is, the gel stays somewhat soft and pliable. Love it!
