Works great. Looks at home with my studio with all my other mac gear. Nice vertical positioning for my laptop.

VERY FUNCTIONAL!

The great thing about this stand is that someone figured out a good angle and height and then committed to it — in solid aluminum. No adjusting knobs or funky joints to deal with, just a hunk of metal that does its job beautifully. Feet and grippers are good quality, and theres a smart cable-organizing hole in the lower back of the stand. This is the one you want.

Its simple as can be... it is exactly what it looks like in the picture. Its solid, sturdy, strong, pick your favorite adjective. If i rest my fat arms on the mac, the whole stand flexes 1/4in or less. The hole in the back keeps cords organized. And to the other reviewer who said that its too steep of an angle - you made me worry, that was the only hesitation I had about buying this... well its simply not true with my macbook pro retina display. It supports the keyboard at a comfortable typing angle and the lid opens about 25 degrees PAST being straight vertical, and the comfortable position for me IS straight vertical - I believe the point of this stand is to put your screen at a height that you arent bending your neck down too look at it (in other words the screen is not leaning back). I am glad I purchased this. If I was poor I would build something comparable out of wood, but if you own a Mac, and are looking at this review, you probably arent poor.

I was heasitant because of reviewers saying their macbook air front edge rested on metal instead of the white bumper. My macbook air sets very well on the stand. The front edge rests on the bumper.
