Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

I spend a solid eight hours a day minimum at my computer and after finally making the switch to an ergonomic keyboard thought Id try to make some adjustments to my laptop setup for the sake of my back and neck. I had no idea what a huge difference it would make. The stand itself is great- goes very well with the Apple aesthetic (use it with my MacBook Pro) and is solid and stable with nice rubber stoppers that keep the laptop from moving around and/or falling. It also frees up some desk real estate which was a welcome surprise.

Nice stand however there are some light scratches on the back?!

One of the best investments I have made, its great having the display sit up higher, I hate using my Macbook Pro flat on a desk now!

Compact and provides space saving for laptop.

Caution: I had to spend $500 to repair my Macbook after it fell out of the stand. I spoke with a manager at Rain Design, who assured me this has never happened before, and theyve been in business for over 10 years. However, the stand does not come with any instructions or warnings. With the Macbook Air, opening and closing the laptop can subtly shift it out of the pads that hold it. Mine fell out of the stand about 5 minutes after I left it, shattering the LCD display. (Not the glass, but I needed a whole new monitor anyway.) So while it is sturdy and comfortable to use, I would be VERY CAREFUL about leaving your laptop in it unattended!

The stand works as expected - a quality stand for Laptops. I use it with my HP 1040 with great satisfaction. Everything about the product says quality and reflects the designers understanding of the needs of the modern laptop user.

This stand makes a world of difference as far as ergonomics are concerned.

Ive had mine for about 3 years and this thing is awesome. It perfectly matches my late 2013 rMBP and holds it at the perfect level. Its very sturdy and I think helps to keep the device cooler versus keeping it on a wood desk. There is a hole in the back for cable management but i dont think its particularly useful since the ports are all on the side and I dont like my cables to bend that much. When paired with a thunderbolt display, the midpoint of the displays are almost exactly inline.

This totally reconfigured my desk. I have the Bose mini speakers underneath my MBP now and the tops or my monitors line up with the top of the open MBP so using multiple displays feels more seamless (less Up-Down-Up) when scanning across the digital realm.

Looks great and sturdy. I will definitely recommend this to a friend.
