> 3 dayIt’s hard not to treat these protein bars like a dessert because they taste SO good. I’m a big fan of dark chocolate and coconut and when you throw caramel into that mix, it feels decadent. These are excellent protein bars—a little high in calories but they deliver twelve grams of protein and they are a good size while so many similar bars seem to be shrinking. They don’t have that protein aftertaste that some bars have too which a bonus. I keep one in my gym bag for any time I want a healthy snack that tastes like a candy bar.

> 3 dayThese are delicious and the texture is like those peanut/caramel covered marshmallow bars-- crunchy bits on the outside, but a squishy and soft interior. At room temperature, the chocolate coating is not tacky and you dont get chocolate fingers. The flavor is nutty with the coconut very evident, but not overpowering. The caramel is a little bit harder to detect, but overall this bar is sweet and delicious. It also leaves minimal crumbs when eating, which is great. For how soft the bar is (firm, but not rock hard or crunchy overall), I would expect that this might be a bit of a mess if it got warm-- so this is not a great bar to toss in your back pocket while hiking or have in a bag sitting in the sun. The price on these is about what youd expect (a little over $2 per bar at the time of this review)-- and while Im not a huge fan of the complicated ingredient list, the end result is a tasty and delicious bar.

> 3 dayI love quest bars. In general, most of them taste quite good. However, this one is straight up amazing and tastes exactly like a candy bar. The ingredients are solid being led by almonds and then a protein blend of whey isolate and milk isolate!

> 3 dayIs that legal??? If youve been doing Keto or low carb as I have been for several years now, thats sort of the question you/I find myself asking. Ive used and enjoyed many products from Quest; bars, chips.... Im sort of amused that they come right out and call this a candy bar. Lets be honest; there are lots of protein or nutrition bars out there that really are just that: a candy bar (in disguise). I dont know that this or *any* candy bar can be considered health food, but... everything in moderation, including moderation!. To keep my palate and lust for sweet things happy, and still fit in the clothes I like to fit in, these are a welcome treat and compromise. With 3 grams of net carbs, they dont decimate my stingy daily allowance of carb intake. I was a little surprised at the texture of these. While not like a normal quest protein bar, they were a bit more firm in texture/bite/chew than the candy bars in my memory (its been a looooong time). If I had to rate the firmness, Id call it about a 5.5 - 6 on a 10 scale (10 firmest). I would call a typical candy bar (again from very distant memorys past...) somewhere around a 3.5 - 4 on that same 10 scale. The sweetness is about a 6 - 6.5 on a scale of 10. The intensity of coconut flavor is about a 8.5 on a scale of 10. The intensity of caramel flavor is about a 4 - 4.5 on a scale of 10. The intensity of chocolate flavor is about a 4 on a scale of 10. The coconut flavor really is the star of this show. In all, these are an enjoyable treat to keep me/us on the right, or at least, better, path. Glad I ordered. I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

> 3 dayI had weight loss surgery and need to watch things like sugar source and amount and carbs. Quest products in general have been amazing to help with cravings and meeting protein goals. These bars taste like a mash up of a Snickers almond, and an almond joy but with darker chocolate. Theres a middle core of some thing that feels like nougat, on top of that is caramel and almonds and its all covered in darker than milk chocolate. I may be so far removed from candy bars that I dont quite remember them, but it tastes like the real deal to me and Id rather have this to get 12g of protein too. There is sugar alcohol and allulose used, if that bothers your tummy you might want to abstain. But these are great for me for an occasional treat.

Greater than one weekSome of these protein bars can be chalky, bad taste or chewy, this has a great balance of taste and texture. Here is a quick breakdown or how I fell this compares to other bars. Pros: - High in fiber - low net carbs - Great taste - low in sugar - Great texture Cons - High in saturated fat - Bar size is a little smaller than others Overall a solid in between means snack

> 3 dayTrying to stay away from the candy bars? This is the perfect solution. I ordered the Coconutty Caramel flavor. What a wonderful surprise - it tastes like a really yummy candy bar (Mounds), but without the sugar rush (and subsequent crash!). The bar has a very satisfying chewiness, but isnt too hard or difficult to chew. The flavor is great - not full-on coconut, but coconuty nougat and caramel, along with some chocolatiness and bits of almond. With 1g sugar, 3g net carbs and 200 calories, its a snack choice you can feel good about. It does have 20g total carbs with 9g of sugar, 3g of Allulose and 5g of alcohol sugars - thats how the bar gets to 3g of net carbs. It is sweetened with Erythritol, Allulose and Sucralose, which may not work for you. I think its a great snack alternative to a sugary treat and cant wait to try other flavors!

> 3 dayI was afraid I wouldnt like these but to my surprise they are really good. Im not big on coconut but with the nuts and chocolate it just all combines so well. Glad I tried these.
