Tastes just like the sugar filled chocolate candy bars that you can get except that it does not have as much sugar. I probably would not personally re-order this though because as a health nut, it contains CARRAGEENAN and SUCRALOSE. While these ingredients arent terribly bad for you, and arguably better than sugar and/or aspertame, I still would rather see stevia or eurythritol as they are a bit more safer. But I understand. Not everybody likes the taste of stevia. Overall, if you are concerned about taste and dont want all that sugar, then this is a good product. If you are a super health nut, then there are probably slightly better things out there.

Is that legal??? If youve been doing Keto or low carb as I have been for several years now, thats sort of the question you/I find myself asking. Ive used and enjoyed many products from Quest; bars, chips.... Im sort of amused that they come right out and call this a candy bar. Lets be honest; there are lots of protein or nutrition bars out there that really are just that: a candy bar (in disguise). I dont know that this or *any* candy bar can be considered health food, but... everything in moderation, including moderation!. To keep my palate and lust for sweet things happy, and still fit in the clothes I like to fit in, these are a welcome treat and compromise. With 3 grams of net carbs, they dont decimate my stingy daily allowance of carb intake. I was a little surprised at the texture of these. While not like a normal quest protein bar, they were a bit more firm in texture/bite/chew than the candy bars in my memory (its been a looooong time). If I had to rate the firmness, Id call it about a 5.5 - 6 on a 10 scale (10 firmest). I would call a typical candy bar (again from very distant memorys past...) somewhere around a 3.5 - 4 on that same 10 scale. The sweetness is about a 6 - 6.5 on a scale of 10. The intensity of coconut flavor is about a 8.5 on a scale of 10. The intensity of caramel flavor is about a 4 - 4.5 on a scale of 10. The intensity of chocolate flavor is about a 4 on a scale of 10. The coconut flavor really is the star of this show. In all, these are an enjoyable treat to keep me/us on the right, or at least, better, path. Glad I ordered. I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Only 1g sugar and less than 5g total. I ate the whole box and didnt share it, hahaha! This is the best low sugar candy bar Ive ever eaten. Not exaggerating. I dont like low sugar candies and this one was good.

The texture of these are fine, and the quality of ingredients seem good too. However, it is very very strongly coconut flavor. I’m not a huge fan of coconut and these were unbearable for me. My friend who likes coconut said they were great. So keep that in mind - I’d like to see a little more subtlety in coconut flavor which I might have liked, but this was too much.

Flavor-wise, they tasted great. No complaints here. I picked these up thinking theyd be like a protein / meal-replacement bar but as the name implies they are very much candy bar styled. By that I mean they are sweet, light and easy to eat. Unfortunately, that means theyre almost too easy to eat. When I ate one, I totally felt like I probably could have eaten a second one. As far as nutrition-focused treats go, these were okay. The big differences between this bar and a brand-name almond candy with coconut really come down to protein and fiber. If you need to get about 10 extra grams of both of those, then this would do it. Calories, carbs and sodium are otherwise pretty comparable. For the price I think its a bit much for healthy treats. Id rather just have the real candy and get my protein and fiber somewhere else.

I have tried many protein bars and the flavor of these is fine but has a bit of an artificial aftertaste. Also, they only have 12g of protein vs. 20 in other bars. Overall, a fine protein bar if you like coconut and dont need max protein.

Some of these protein bars can be chalky, bad taste or chewy, this has a great balance of taste and texture. Here is a quick breakdown or how I fell this compares to other bars. Pros: - High in fiber - low net carbs - Great taste - low in sugar - Great texture Cons - High in saturated fat - Bar size is a little smaller than others Overall a solid in between means snack

Wouldn’t know it’s a protein bar-dark chocolate- coconut filling with caramel and chopped almonds - now i have to find a place to hide them!
