Greater than one weekThese work just as well as a name brand. I keep them in all my closets.

> 3 dayAbsorbed moisture to a point, then instead of filtering the liquid thru the beads, it just sat in the beads and created a dam that wouldnt allow anything thru. Ended up with mold everywhere these were used. Everywhere I placed these was soaking wet, but everywhere I placed packet absorbers or hanging bags was dry. And as always I could see the water in the packets and bags collecting at the base as it should. Do not buy! Doesnt do the job at all! Buy bags or packets and save frustration. UPDATE. I was contacted by the customer service for PureEgg, and offered a refund. Then after the refund was issued, I was asked to remove the negative review. Nope. I was sold a product that did not work, and had the expense of cleaning up the resulting mold. You should give a full refund for a nonworking product, and you should leave it up to the person if they want to change their review.

> 3 dayTheyre ok and I May be judging the item to soon and not giving it more time to work. I bought some at the dollar store with a different brand that seem to sucked moisture more quickly than this Brand.

> 3 dayI struggle with moisture in my basement and figured these would be worth a try. The price was right and the reviews are pretty good... I have 4 of these in my basement now for over a week and they havent dropped the humidity level by even a single percent.

> 3 dayI keep these in all of my closets. They have currently only been in there for a couple of weeks, and I had others in there at the same time. I wanted to give them a bit more time to see the best results. So far, I can already see some moisture accumulating. These really help to keep moisture out of the air and you clothes and keep things smelling fresh!

> 3 dayI set these out and waited. It took a couple of weeks to see water in the reservoir (compared to bags I had hanging which seemed to be collecting more moisture). These work great. The shape makes them easy to conceal, you can pop them on shelf, under sinks, etc. What I think sets them way ahead of the brand I typically buy, is the lining on top. You remove a plastic lining, and there is a white filter-looking covering (you then put back the slatted lid). I hate the other brand, when you can see the materials inside. I dont know, just didnt like. Also, if you moved it at all, you might spill the beads etc. This prevents that. Nice feature. I suspect it would also help retain any odors as well, but not sure about that. So, these work, the price is right, and its nice having extras around. We got this box a little before a hurricane, when we ended up with no power in 90 degrees. I was able to set one of these in each room and worry a little less about mildew. For what its worth, in a home prone to that, we didnt see or smell any of mildew/mold after a week of high humidity and no AC. I would guess these played a role in that for sure. Good stuff!

> 3 dayI placed these absorbers through out the lower level of our home where its usually very humid. I like that these absorb moisture without making a sound (vs. loud dehumidifiers). The multi pack allows me to place one or two in each room. The price is great for the 8 pack. Easy to use and effective. ☺️
