> 3 dayMisleading photo!!!! This is not, as Id hoped, a cool funky climbing toy that my rats would love. You get only ONE box. Why on earth they would use a photo showing four separately sold boxes is beyond me, especially since there is no option to select a size when you order it, which furthers the illusion that the photo is showing one item!!!!

Greater than one weeknice and roomy for 2 guinea pigs. I like that the entrance covers parts of 2 sides, and the piggies love jumping through the window! they also love munching on it, which can be loud at night, so sometimes we switch it out for a plastic one while sleeping though...

> 3 dayI bought this based off the photo, thinking Id have a few levels to work with. When the package arrived I was disappointed to see that just the bottom arrived. I should have read prior to purchasing - so if you are reading this then you probably already figured that out. Otherwise its a great hide out for my rats.

> 3 dayWell.. I should say that my rabbit loves it. He likes to sit on it, meditate on and in it, and occasionally nibble on the frame. Well built and worth the money to keep the bunny happy!

> 3 dayThere are small nails (or tacks, I dont know which one)used in the construction, and possibly wood glue (unconfirmed). All toys or anything given to any animal should be used under supervision of a person. If you feel it is unsafe for your guinea pig, let him use the this hut while your in the same room or in and out checking on him and during the night put one of those plastic igloos in his cage for variety. My guinea pigs cage is right next to my computer desk so he is under constant watch since i spend my waking moments at the desk. All he has done thus far is go inside it to sleep. He has plenty of toys and hay to for him to chew on besides the hut itself. This is a good product, its solid - heavy enough to keep the guinea pig from moving it (unlike the igloo) and big enough to hold I would estimate up to 5 guinea pigs (as any owner of pigs know how they love to pile in a hut) One hole on top and window beside the entry way for them to crawl though and ventilation. As for the other reviewer saying that his had the nails protruding out, you must have gotten a bad one because after reinspecting the one I bought...all nails are in the wood and none are showing.

01-11-2024When I saw the picture, I thought that the product I would be receiving a bunch of different sized huts that could stack on top of one another, which the only reason why I bought it -- I wanted my mice to have something to climb and sleep on. But when I received the product in the mail, it was only a single hut (the biggest size) which I didnt exactly have a need for, so I returned it. So, just be aware that the product isnt exactly what it looks like!

> 3 dayI have three of these houses, 1 guinea pig sized one for my Syrian and 2 hamster sized ones for my Robos. They are a little expensive, but exactly what I needed. I have food and water dishes for my hamsters, and a reoccurring issue was the dishes having bedding kicked in them or being tipped over while the hamsters were digging no matter where I placed them in the cages. Along with providing a place to hide and sleep, these flat-roofed houses with a hole in the top create a second level where I can place the food and water dishes away from the bedding. Should last a good while despite getting slightly wet from splashed water and the occasional gnawing + peeing. Thankfully my hamsters arent chewing these enough to raise concerns about the unknown wood materials or nails and glue... yet.
