President Richard 10 Meter Ham Radio, 50W PEP

This is a 10 meter EXPORT radio. It has remarkably good AM and FM performance. It fits in tight places, is built like a tank, and sound great! It is trivial to change this to an 11 meter Citizens Band rig, which it also does handily, if that is your thing. The glowing reviews for this unit are spot on, and the only downside is no single sideband operation. Therefore, you arent going to do well on channel 38 with skip contacts. That said, if you like to listen to the higher HF bands, or enjoy 11 meter activity, this unit will not disappoint. I am thoroughly satisfied with the Amazon retailer, and would certainly consider purchasing from them in the future.

This little radio is definitely a value for the money. Built like a tank as far as the chassie and surface mount components go, a plus for any mobile. Has impressive audio with supplied microphone and a snap to program. Through research I found the President Richard was manufactured in Belarus not China.

Did the 11 meter conversion. Red jumper wire in pic. It has to be soldered onto board. Easy task if you have the experience. If not I highly recommend against it. Look online for the steps in menu to set it up after jumper wire mod

very nice loud clean audio in a small package no VR trimmers for the hack shops to turn.. i also like the fact i can charge my cell phone right off of the included usb port on the radio. P{resident keeps pushing the envelope on these smaller more power radios

If you buy this, you have to convert it to 11 m it will not work as a CB

This radio has loud but very clear modulation. It out performs some of the other export radios. Very happy with mine

Very few ham radio operators use AM of FM modulation on the high frequency bands. Although, there a few FM repeaters on the 10 m band. This radio is not very useful to licensed ham radio operators. If, you buy this radio, please make the 11 m conversion and stay off the ham bands. Do your illegal and disruptive business on CB.

Got my president Richard cb radio tuned and peaked. Also did the conversion. This CB is powerful and will get out there. Thank you president
