> 24 hourAwesome radio. Noise canceling ability is second to none. No other brand of radio holds a candle to the President line.

> 24 hourInstalled on my 2018 Renegade Motorcoach on a Freightliner Cascadia chassis. Works well so far. Lots of nice features. Originally owned two President HR2510 that performed well. That was the reason for staying with the brand. Would buy again.

> 24 hourArrived with internal speaker not working. When I have to swap trucks, this is a big issue as some truck don’t have an external speaker built in. Seems like a manufacturing defect and not what I have ever expected from a President cb radio.

> 24 hourBought at a truck stop! I drive a company big rig. My truck had an unused DIN slot, and I had trouble operating the old radio in the overhead compartment. The front-firing speaker meant no extension speaker hassles. -Superb clear voice from puny speaker! -Multi-function buttons are not overly complex. -Best weather radio on the planet. -Built-in automatic SWR. (push F then Up ) -Good reports for radio and mic. CONS: - Lacks RF gain knob. Has attenuator Local/Distant function, instead. That works very well except in high skip conditions, which are common, lately. All you can do is turn down the volume, and turn up squelch. Auto squelch is splendid, except during high skip in middle of day. -Mic up/down buttons seem fragile, sometimes switching the channel. I have extra large hands, and cannot pick up mic without hitting channel buttons. Eventually, the channel would go up without me touching the mic. I bought a PNI mic without buttons, which I am using. I also opened the Pres mic and snipped the up/down button wires. I tested it, and it cannot change channels inadvertently, anymore. The up/down channel buttons on the radio face are plenty handy for me, and seem durable. It also has 3 memories, good for pit, warehouse, security gate channels, etc. The Johnson II is a premier AM only CB radio. Wearecb has DIN mounting kits made for Johnson II and McKinley. DIN radios are rare, and this is a nice one. I like this radio so much, I mounted a second one, conventionally, in my pickup. Dont let the buttons on the mic, or lack of RF gain knob deter you. No dimmer, but the LCD digits show up in daytime, with barely a trace of backlighting. The backlighting is not overpowering at night, either. For a fixed light level, it is optimum. Out of around 20 company drivers, I have been told my radio is among the loudest and clearest. It doesnt hurt my SWR is barely above 1.

> 24 hourI started using CB radio in the 1960s and used them on the road a lot during the 70s and 80s. I decided to get a new one to use in my wife’s car on road trips. The President Johnson II USA seemed exactly what I was looking for. I especially like the front facing speaker and received signals are heard easily in the car. Signal reports on my transmitted signal are also excellent. I am a ham radio operator and when I checked it out with my test equipment I observed that it was right on frequency, put out exactly the 4 watts as advertised and its modulation is excellent. The factory did a superb job of aligning it. This is a very nice AM only CB radio and I highly recommend it.

> 24 hourGreat CB! After installing, I turned the power on and was talking to people 4-5 miles away, I can hear them crystal clear and they said I was coming in load and proud!! The only thing I didn’t like... u have to hard wire the power cord. I replaced 2 cobra 29’s with 2 Andy’s
