And from a design perspective, the V Ball is simple, attractive, functional and very comfortable - a solid performer. Show me any Waterman or Mont Blanc that even comes close, and Ill buy it. But in the interim, at less than two bucks a pop, the Pilot V Ball sets the gold standard for everything a great pen should be.

> 3 dayI love these pens (extra fine tip), use them frequently, and have for many years. Performance/consistency has been excellent, and the pens last a long time before running out of ink. Highly recommended (and even better than a Schmidt cartridge I tried in a custom-made pen).

> 3 dayThese pens are a must have for a college student or professional. Fluid writing with no leaking, although it ca be heavy on thinner papers. Whatever you do dont buy the outrageous markups in your college store and buy from Amazon.

Greater than one weekThese are the only pens I use! Actually there are two versions: the normal version and a version that uses 80% recycled materials. I prefer to use recycled materials, but they have a little more cost. As for the pens, they write great...the best that I have known. I buy these and keep some at home and at work. I actually use them so much, almost all my pens I use until they go completely dry, meaning I dont lose them...I hold on to these things and take them everywhere I go.
