The upper end will not be as good as something like the Sennheiser 650, but the base will be significantly more pleasing, in both quantity and soundstage. you’ll have to pay over two times the price to find something comparable. This is great if you do not want to mess with EQ.

These get the sub bass in the sound track scores---very good overall performance. I have only just received them, but would not hesitate to recommend--highly.

I use an eye gaze computer to communicate and entertain myself due to ALS. Staring at a screen 10+ hours a day necessitates blue light glasses to combat ridiculous digital eye strain from intense screen use. I was using Bose and Beats but had horrible pain within an hour due to the headband squeeze. Earbuds hurt after a few hours. I found these in an online review of headphones that are eyeglass friendly.

Excellent for listening to vocals

This was once a trusted, competent brand but after this experience, I will never buy Philips again. Headphones broke a few months after purchase. Have contacted Philips support multiple times but keep getting passed off to other departments and promised that my case is being reviewed but the whole system appears to just give you the runaround as nothing has ever come of it. Extremely frustrating experience

The Philips Fidelio X2HR headphones are very comfortable and deliver high quality sound. I switched from Sennheiser PXC 550-ii Bluetooth headphones to these wired headphones. I immediately noticed a significant improvement in sound. The Philips headphones are also more comfortable. The earpads are large, well padded, and covered in a soft velour-like cloth. I also noticed the unit is made of sturdy materials attached to a metal frame. Finally, although I ordered an inexpensive amp, the headphones are working well without it.

Dies ist mein 2. Philips Fidelio nach dem X1 da bei dem die Ohrpolster kaputt gegangen sind und nicht vernünftig erneut werden könnten. Bei dem X2 sollen diese austauschbar sein, was ich jedoch nicht probiert habe.

These sound great, and are very comfortable. I am really impressed with the sound for the price. I am glad I was introduced to them.
