PHILIPS Fidelio X2HR Over-Ear Open-Air Headphone 50mm Drivers- Black

The 50mm drivers make for a fantastic listening experience, but once the unnecessarily thin plastic screws give way, you wont be listening to much after that. Its almost as if its designed to break so that you buy another pair, isnt that just great?

Great headphone, if you receive a pair that works. Straight out of the box, these headphones looked and felt great. Once I plugged them in, they sounded great too, that is until I noticed a rattle in my right ear every time there was any sort of bass. Even the tiniest amount of bass would put off this horrible rattle/scratching sound. After contacting Philips support, I didn’t hear back for weeks, and once I did and finally got my support ticket submitted, I waited even longer to hear back again. If you want these headphones, they’re great for their price and very comfy. However, if you have any issues don’t get your hopes up getting them replaced.

So, today my X2s arrived from amazon. I got a very good used pair and I dont regret I did. They first of all are in great condition, they look new and most importantly feel new. I am gonna go through what I think about these and compare them to my older daily driver, my 990 pros. This review is my first really review ever of headphones so dont expect much. It is not as in depth as others.

I really liked these. My first open-back so not much i can say, except that the sound was a definite upgrade from my gaming headset.

I have mild hearing loss from my service (turns out loud noises can hurt your ears). Most sound solutions sound muddy to me. So I never tried anything good.

Ero alla ricerca di un paio di cuffia da usare a 360 gradi, Videogiochi musica e film. Prima di questo modello ho provato delle Audio Technica m50x e delle Bayerdynamic 770 pro. Le prime suonavano benissimo ma erano davvero tanto scomode, per un uso prolungato. mentre le seconde proprio non mi sono piaciute per via di un difetto molto noto, vanno in crisi a volumi sostenuti e distorcono soprattutto nelle basse frequenze in tale situazione. Dopo praticamente 2 mesi senza aver trovato ciò che cercavo mi sono imbattuto in questo modello. Cercavo cuffie chiuse senza un reale motivo siccome le avrei utilizzate solo a casa, grave errore perché queste cuffie hanno una tridimensionalità nei giochi pazzesca, dovuta appunto a questa caratteristica. Avevo paura di sentire i rumori ma naturalmente mentre sono in funzione ciò non accade!! La Cuffia ha un suono bello, vivace e divertente. Non stanca mai a differenza degli altri taglienti della m50x che comunque ritengo un ottima cuffia con una grande impronta flat. Le Fidelio X2hr/00 riproducono tutto e molto bene alti bellissimi e mai invadenti, medi adeguati e bassi… belli, corposi ma mai invadenti. La cuffia non è leggera ma si lascia usare per tante ore di fila. Sono veramente entusiasta di questo prodotto

These headphones are a huge improvement over my other pair.

Excellent set of headphones, very clear and clean. Only big complaint is clamping force is uncomfortable. Treble has weird dips around 8-10kHz. Incredible quality of sound for price after a little EQ. Very flat frequency response overall. Very detailed bass. Awesome soundstage. Hard to beat for the money.
