Original Matte Loose Mineral Foundation Broad Specrum SPF 15

Its really hard to find foundation powder that doesnt make me look pale like a ghost or too dark for my complexion as if I am trying to fake a tan. I am a natural red-head and it is really hard to find complimentary make-up for my skin tone. This color foundation is perfect if you are fair like me with freckles.

I love bareMinderals. It covers well, but doesnt look chalky. Because it is a powder, it doesnt streak. I usually put on my face moisturize/sunscreen, let it dry, and then put this on. I was very happy to see that Amazon carried this product. It seems pricey, but you get a lot of weeks out of the product. Now I dont have to hunt this down in the constantly changing locations in the mall store. Awesome!

I’m so glad I bought 3 of these! I couldn’t believe the price and after I bought them I started reading the reviews about people not getting them real thing and I got nervous. I thought it was too good to be true but I got my order and they were all the foundation they were supposed to be for 1/3 of the regular price!! Sooo glad I got them.

I have always loved Bare Minerals. I will never go back to liquid foundation after using this. So great for sensitive skin.

This stuff is the best! I ordered the wrong color because I’m a fool but typically this product is my go-to on top of liquid foundation (I use Clinique or milk makeup for liquid).

This product actually is good for your skin. Mine is very acne prone. I found that you need a really good brush to apply it well otherwise it will not cover. It also doesnt cover as well as the original foundation. However I usually apply this first, then use a little of the original foundation on top. It did not make me break out at all and really helped control blemishes. I only recently broke out when I started using a revlon concealer underneath bare minerals. BAD CHOICE. ONLY use bare minerals dont hop and mix other make up brands at the same time.

You get what you pay for…. But you’ll pay less here than Sephora or Ulta. This is a lovely, protective, light foundation. I typically blend with a bronzer from Bare Minerals in the summer. It’s a very sheer, light cover so not suited for high glam.

I live by this make up, as someone on a TV set told me long ago that creamy foundations can cake on or look overdone. Basic Minerals has some UV protection in it too. Though they dont pretend to be a true SPF 30 sunscreen, I think every bit helps. I have very sensitive skin and after 15 years of using this, Ive never once broken out. Considering the UV protection added, which irritates many, thats even more impressive. I get frequent compliments about my skin complexion, and I think Bare Minerals has a lot to do with it.

I bought the starter pack of the regular Bare Escentuals, which I liked, but the finish was a little too sparkly or shiny for me. I like the matte look of this powder. I can go to the gym after work, and it doesnt run off my face like regular makeup. The only thing I dont really like is the way Amazon or Sephora displays the colors. I would have bought the lighter shade, but it looked like Fairly Light was correct. Just a tiny bit too dark, but its very blendable.
