I purchased this a few months ago after doing a ton of research on many different protein powders. Ive tried a few different brands, both in powders and premixed shakes. I had gastric sleeve surgery almost a year ago so protein is a very important aspect of my diet. My biggest problem is flavor! I cant stand a lot of the products Ive tried, its either gritty or tastes awful, or usually, its both. That being said, this powder is acceptable to me. Its not absolutely gag worthy but its definitely not delicious either. It almost has an oat taste to it, which is odd but not really gross or tasty either. The protein in it is good quality and I can tell because it doesnt cause gas or bloating. My favorite is still Premier Protein shakes in chocolate but this one is good for after my workouts or if Im really low on protein for the day. I mix it with fairlife milk, in a cup with a whisk and it blends fairly well. Please dont buy into the myth that your body can only absorb so much protein at once either because it simply isnt true. Ill still continue to look for a shake that tastes good without a ton of carbs but at this point at least Ive found something tolerable. That in and of itself has been a challenge! I would definitely recommend this product tho, especially if youre like me and have extremely picky taste buds.

I drank one serving of this immediately after my workout. Felt half as sore as I usually do. Helped me noticeably recover faster.

Love this product and drink it daily. Ive taken the price increases over the past several years in stride. Understandably with supply chain issues, inflations, etc., prices have to rise. Unfortunately, theyve priced themselves out of the market. Attempted to purchase from other retailers of this product the past several months, who hadnt changed pricing. $100+ for 40 days worth of product just isnt sustainable. Even for higher income earners. ON - please bring this product back to realistic pricing...and Ill be back.

Optimum Nutrition is not new to the scene and they certainly produce great-value products, like their Gold Standard protein

Researched a lot before buying it, because it quite expensive, but it really does its job, one of the best Ive tried

Ive been taking this protein for probably 3 to 4 years and it is my absolute favorite protein. Im lactose intolerant so less calcium the better. The flavor is great. It says 6 to 8 ounces of water but I tend to do 12 ounces and it still tastes fine. Unfortunately it is getting harder to find and becoming more expensive. 30g of protein is pretty spot on. Not too little not to much.

Does not taste very strong of vanilla as it used to, upset about that. Still I am glad it is still available. It has always been pricy, soon I will not be able to afford it.

The flavor is good

I bought this for only one reason - low carb. I am on a marco cycling routine and this is fantastic for my low carb days. I am not sure how it tastes so good with so few carbs. Bravo! Mixes great in my unsweetened almond milk. Its a rockin shake to get 30 grams of protein at only 3 carbs. (my other shakes are 30 grams protein but at whopping cost of 22 grams of carbs).
