> 24 hourUpdated Update: After 6 months the robot is completely dead. It doesnt turn on and it doesnt charge. The charging base has power and all the sensors are clean, but when the robot is on the base it does not charge. Fortunately OKP has a 1 year warranty and Amazon told me to contact them for a repair or replacement. Great, right? Apparently not, because OKP decided to not respond to my help request at all. Amazon followed up with me to see if they had fixed the issue and I told them they hadnt. So Amazon has offered me a partial refund. So I send the broken robot back to Amazon, they give me a partial refund, and I am left with nothing and am out $40. OKP doesnt back their warranty, and you cant get a full refund or replacement from Amazon after 90 days. There are many other reputable robot companies, but this is not one of them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: After using this for a few months now, I kind of hate this little robot. Ill be honest, the company advertises that if you leave a 5 star review theyll send you a free gift (which is actually illegal to do according to the FTC, and against Amazon policy). But I did leave a 5 star review and sent it to OKP, but never received a gift from them. I suspect most of the 5 stars are because of this bribe theyre offering. Take them with a grain of salt, as I now know I should have done. Compared to my other robot vacuums, this one is the least effective. Its smaller, much lighter (the plastic housing feels thinner/cheaper), but also less powerful. It drives slower than my other robots and only lasts about 30 minutes, whereas my other robots will run for a couple of hours. It has different power settings and I keep it on the lowest power setting. If its on high then it wont last 30 minutes. I find this robot is best suited to cleaning one small room, but it definitely cant handle an entire floor or even one large room. Im using this one now in my small bedroom (10x11) and thats about all it can handle on one charge. I originally loved that it didnt have a brush roll, and thats why I bought it. Then I realized that I could just take out the brush rolls on my other robots and Id end up with a more powerful version of this little guy that just works better. The biggest problem is that if it stays on the charging dock for too long, then it stops charging but the battery slowly drains. I was trying to use it once a week, and every time I tried to start it, it was completely dead (while still on the charger). To get it to work I have to take it off the charger, place it back on to get it to start charging again and then wait a couple of hours to start running it. If I dont run the robot the same day it goes on the charger, it doesnt retain enough battery to run. Its not really a hands off system since I have to plan out when Im going to reset the charging and then time it out to come back to start the robot before it starts draining power again. Its incredibly frustrating. Do yourself a favor and buy a more expensive model that will just work whenever you need it to. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review: Just got this robot and so far Im pleased with it. Ive had 3 other vacuum robots by other brands. This robot is smallest but the dirt chamber is the biggest My favorite part is that there is no brush roll. On one hand theres no brush to scrape dust off the floor. I dont have any carpets so thats not a main concern for me. But I have pets and long hair and I spend every day pulling hair out of my other robots. I love not having to deal with that with the OKP.

> 24 hourIt’s made our house cleaner, getting under beds, and making our lives easier. Love it. It’s fun, making us smile and laugh from time to time. It has a mind of its own, so sometimes I have to carry it to the spot it missed. It doesn’t go back and forth, but kind of all around in different directions, thus missing some spots. But if you let it run for half an hour to an hour, it gets most of it, and the container gets full with gunk. Nevertheless, it is one of the best things I’ve ever bought for cleaning house. It’s affordable. Also, it’s made it so much easier on my bad back. I’m intending to buy this for my two sisters and my minister within the next few months.

> 24 hourPros: It is compact. it is one of the smaller diameter and thickness ones Ive found. It has good drive power, plenty of suction, decent battery life The autodocking and charging works well Cleans very well on hard surfaces Cons: The app is not very intuitive. It has some interesting programming features that could make for some fun custom schedules and automation, but that comes at a cost of ease of use. Careful where you place the dock. It seems to create a no-go zone around the dock station in which the robot will not enter while cleaning. Not very good on thick carpet. This robot does not have a brush bar, and leaves debris behind on carpet that it easily picks up on hard surfaces. I paid ~$100 on sale for mine, and I think its a pretty good value for that price. If you have mostly hard surfaces, and you dont care about all the latest bells and whistles, this is a good choice.

> 24 hourFor the price compared to the name brand, it does a pretty darn good job. I only used it bedroom at first which is about 15x15. There are plenty of obstacles and stuff under the bed that Im not sure of anymore but its down there. So I unboxed the robot and it seemed to be pretty solid. I set up the app and then the sweeper. It was pretty simple process. I let it charge up for a few hours. At 80% I couldnt stand it anymore and I opened the app and fired it up. Away it went. It ran back and forth. Bumping and turning. Zigging and zapping. It disappeared under the bed. It was under there about 5 minutes and finally it resurfaced. It ran around for about 20 minutes and I was curious what the dust cup looked like. OMG let me tell you. 20 minutes and this thing picked up dirt I didnt know I had. The cup was completely packed! I emptied it and it was amazing to see what it had picked up. I docked it and let it finish charging. I setup my schedule to run everyday after I leave for work. It runs for about an hour until it needs charged. Some other reviewers have mentioned that it doesnt pick up very well. They are made for bare floor and low pile carpet. And I will say its a must to use the app. The default setting is medium suction. Crank that baby up. It should leave the factory on high. So overall Ill impressed. I have 2 cats where this thing sweeps. Im thinking about ordering another for the lower level where we have 2 dogs. Its worth it!

> 24 hour4 stars because the app does not work. I couldn’t get the thing to connect to wifi for the life of me. But once I discovered I can just let this little guy run aimlessly without the app, I don’t even care! I have a golden retriever and a dirt backyard. I clean our floors all the time but saw this thing on major sale & figured why not. I’m amazed! In one run it got all this. (See photo) It navigates through tight spots and makes it ways under all furniture. If you’re a dog owner, this thing is 100% worth it. No more giant dust bunnies floating around.

> 24 hourThis is my 2nd robotic vacuum. The first one I got on sale at Lowes. Compared to the Bob Sweep, the OKP Life K2 is hands down a winner. All the issues my Bob Sweep encountered were not issues for the OKP. BobSweep 1. Black rubber mat under treadmill - Bob would get stuck and confused every time no matter where it approached the mat 2. Smaller drive wheels which led to Bob getting stuck often 3. Felt like an early gen programming. Bob could not figure out how to unstick himself if he got into a jam. I watched it for over 5 minutes going back and forth over the same moves before shutting down and giving up. OKP 1. Nice, large drive wheels to help it go up and over small height differences 2. Nicely programmed code and it has only gotten stuck once 3. Wish I had gotten a model which can self empty, but still impressed with how OKP has been cleaning 4. Has a Find robot option in the phone software. If the vacuum does mange to get stuck, you can easily find it rather than searching under all furniture 5. Annoying - the Life K2 does not store a map. So watching it try and go home is frustrating. Esp when it has to go back and forth covering the full walls of a hallway instead of just homing in on the base and going there. However, it does make it home which is more than could be said for the Bob Sweep. This is a good purchase and I have been happy. Does it replace a full size manual vacuum? Not quite. But keeping up after a full house sweep is definitely in its wheelhouse and makes the times you pull out the larger model go quicker.

> 24 hourWas worried because of the cheap price but this vac has been great for pet hair. I would walk around my house in my socks and in minutes look like had puppies for feet :) Not anymore! My socks stay clean and i dont have to vacuum everyday anymore. Well worth it.
