Ive used similar stands at work and with the Covid 19 pandemic and working from home, I wanted something for home. This lifts the height of my Macbook Pro 15 up about the same place as my external monitors so thats very nice. It also allowed me to put the docking hub underneath it, freeing up enough space for my phone charging stand next to the computer where the face recognition works without having to pick up my phone. Overall, it does what I purchased it for.
