The stand feels very sturdy and I know it will last for many years. I can already feel the strain relief on my neck and back from the elevation of the stand. There are also two rubber strips on the stand that ensure your laptop is secured and wont be scratched by the aluminum. One of my favorite Amazon purchases in a while!

Ive got the apple version of these stands at home along with the amazon version at my office. Staying with my in laws for a month this summer then again for Christmas. Got this one because of the good reviews & the fact that breaks down for travel. Perfect for easy storage when Im gone. Great functional product!
