NOW Supplements, L-Lysine (L-Lysine Hydrochloride) 500 mg, Amino Acid, 250 Tablets

I have been advised by two people in the know that NOW produces good quality products. One person actually visited their manufacturing facilities. The other is a food scientist with a lab.

L-lysine is my go to for any mouth issues whatsoever and this stuff helped me through a late-in-life removal of tonsils and follow up throat treatments. Putting this on subscription to make sure there is always some around.

This arrived on time, good size pills, and pills are not too big for me to take. They glide down the chute well.

Starting taking and I’m already feeling a lift in my mood and energy, maybe just the placebo effect but still solid.

Thought I was getting capsules, which I take and I also give to my cat for a health condition. I can take the tablets myself but prefer capsules. Didnt notice until I opened it. Ill have to order more for my cat.

I am a fan of NOW products so I did not hesitate to purchase this product, the Lysine tablets. I have a problem with sensitivity to many food products (especially acidic foods) and am constantly fighting mouth sores (canker-type) with many foods and even some toothpastes (mint does a job on me). Lysine tablets take care of that problem, with two per day intake for a couple days (or so, depending upon the intensity of the breakout inside my mouth). I am delighted to have found these NOW Lysine tablets, needless to say!

I have a problem with biting my gums when I eat and get mouth ulcers from it. This helps me.

I find this a cheap way to stop getting a cold sore if you down these immediately. No reason to buy the expensive tabs when this gets right into your system just double up on the doses when you first start taking them and doing immediately when you feel a cold sore coming on they are great and have used them for years.
