Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4, Premium CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

I recently upgraded my system to an AMD 3900xt and needed a cooler. My Cooler Master 212 has served me well for the i5 system Ive used the past couple years, but I figured I should try out this brand for the 3900xt build due to using a hotter CPU and the raving reviews online.

This CPU cooler is amazing, its whisper quiet and cools almost as good as a closed loop water cool system for less then half the price. But it is large, so make sure you case can fit it. Also not a huge fan of the brown/tan cooler scheme. Would prefer black. Very easy to install.

I wanted something quieter and more efficient than the stock Wraith Stealth cooler that came in the box with my AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. I considered all available air coolers. I read a lot of reviews before making my final decision and the Noctua NH-U12S was my first choice. This CPU cooler is one of the best out there. I installed a second Noctua NF-F12 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan on it using the extra mounting clips which came in the box with this cooler and my CPU runs very cool and quiet! Dont hesitate if you need a very good air cooler. The Noctua NH-U12S is the best available choice and it will not break your budget.

Great Air cooling on the AM4 platform.

Noctua makes great quality coolers. Im not a big fan of AIO coolers and this keeps my cpu in the 45c range when gaming with a slight OC. more then enough for the average user, a NH- D15 cooler would be standard if you are looking to push your OC further.

This was easy to install into a Micro ATX case (masterbox QL300) onto an Asus Mobo b450m. Theres room for my ram and about .25 of space to the side of the case from the top of the cooler. I use the stock settings to cool my CPU, I dont hear the CPU fan almost never unless Im doing some bench tests. CPU temp idle and low workload (chrome and maybe photoshop) between 38-42c. when I OC and bench test its 68-71ish. My mobo isnt so strong so I just keep everything typically stock. I bought this cooler for potential future proof air cooling.. I need to upgrade my mobo and cpu I have no doubts this cooler will be sufficient for many years, and you can add another cooler for push/pull if desired. People dont like the tan/brown-red look.. but its not that big of a deal when you have a dark window.. still looks clean, they make replacement fans in different colors, Im sticking with stock.

Marche super bien avec un AMD Ryzen 1700x pas de bruit en utilisation classique et sur des jeux ou des applications lourdes on ne lentend quà peine.
