Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4, Premium CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

Well worth the buy in running an ryzen 3 3100 and my idle temps dropped from my stock cooler from 31 degrees celcius to 27 lowest on an average day. In cinebench I run 60.5 degrees hottest after 3 runs over the 75.5 degrees on the stock cooler. In games like gta ark survival forza horizon Ive not hit above 51 degrees and average at 45. My stock cooler would do 58 to61 average and hit 71 at full load.

Holy crap. Im coming froma stock cooler on a nonoverclocked r5 2600 and was seeing temps well above 85c running Prime95 in less than five minutes. Which.. holy hell thats hot.

Main goal was to overclock my CPU as far as it can go. I did not think it would be a very good idea to do it on an air cooler, however this one is a very competent one, and does the job ( ryzen 5 2600 - furthest I could push it is 1.42V, 4.15 Ghz, at 82-84°C; temps get even lower at - 1.37V, 3.95 GHz, at 74.5°C at full sinth. load ). At stock or at a lower clock on the CPU this cooler maintains (depending on the CPU that is) 29-32°C at idle, and around 49-56°C at full load. Noice levels are OK. These are results from my personal use of the cooler. Even the thermal paste that comes with the cooler is good. All around the installation was easy enough. Everything, including the tools that you would need to mount it and some spare parts come in the box. Perfect for AM4 motherboards and mid tower cases.

Brutto è brutto. Ma mi ha abbattuto le temperature del ryzen 3600 di 15 gradi circa. Consigliatissimo

Montato ieri su un Ryzen 5 3600, su scheda madre Msi X570-A pro.

I am in total awe of how well the Noctua fan performs. I never thought that fans this quiet can move this much air, so I am delighted to be wrong. The heat sink itself does a great job absorbing heat from my overclocked Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, but the the fan is still the star of the show. I have it set to 100% and it is barely a whisper while keeping my CPU under 60° C while gaming.

Acquistato per sostituire lAIO Master Cooler a liquido ML240, dopo 6 mesi ha ceduto la pompa acqua. Sono rimasto sorpreso dalla silenziosità, la ventola gira sempre al minimo e il Ryzen 1600 non supera mai 50 gradi anche dopo 30 minuti al 100%

ho comprato questo dissipatore perche quello stock che usavo era troppo rumoroso e dopo 1/2 ore di utilizzo del pc il mio r5 3600 raggiungeva gli 85 gradi quindi ho optato per questo dissipatore di noctua.

Used this to replace a stock cooler - this is so much more effective and quieter - the previous fan would sound like a jet engine with minimal increases in the CPU load.
