Its very silent compared to using the stock ryzen cooler. Cools the cpu well and was easy to mount

Handily beats the stock AMD cooler that came with my Ryzen 3600X; temperatures are 10C lower at idle and the fan is virtually silent. It is a bit of a pain to install as you need to fuss with it a bit to get the screw-downs on the cooler crossbar to line-up with the threaded posts on the mounting bracket. Based on past experience, Im sure the Cooler Master Hyper 212 would have been nearly as effective for $20+ less, but when you want the best...

Under synthetic benchmarks it doesnt get warmer than 65-68c, under gaming its around 60c.

I bought this for my Ryzen 9 3900X. The main intent was to have a non AIO, quieter solution than the stock cooler, and to obviously to keep the temps down in the hopes of getting better than stock boost clocks. I had been using a Corsair H100i AIO, but I was tired of the additional clutter in my case (weird I know) and this cooler seemed to be in the same ballpark according to reviews. Overall, in my experience, its not quite at the level of my H100i but it is really close.

Not tape sealed, no thermal paste, no instructions, no backplate. The computer is out of commission even longer now.

I originally bought a 212 LED turbo as i was happy with the Cooler Masters in the past. However, I was doing an AM4 build and that cooler only dissipates the air vertically, towards top of the case. Ultimately the orientation meant it did not fit over my memory cards with the heat spreaders. I bought this cooler with an additional fan and was amazed by the quietness. I mean whisper quiet. It fit as it includes a bracket solution to fit in any orientation.

There are a few cpu fans that are just quality solid and great performers. This is a go to again and again. The company knows their stuff and doesn’t disappoint.

Fantastic cooler with included fantastic thermal paste! Although its fairly large, it still allows ample room for the G.Skill TridentZ RGB ram on the ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero motherboard.

Lho acquistato dopo aver restituito un ARCTIC FREEZER 33 PLUS riscontrando che non copriva tutta la superficie del processore AM4 RYZEN, questo NOCTUA dissipatore invece lo fa e così devessere a mio parere.

My Ryzen 3600 was idling 55-70 with the VERY loud stock wraith cooler. The idle temp with the Noctua NH-U12S is 36-50, and its very quiet. I dont have amazing airflow either... case is a Corsair 110Q.
