> 3 dayIt is very quiet, and after using this CPU fan and along with a Noctua chassis fan, and replaced my power supply with Be Quiet Dark Power Pro power supply, I finally got a quiet PC which I cant hear any noise under normal web surfing or office desks.

> 3 dayI had the renowned CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo before this. I was on a tighter budget at the time. It was great at idle and medium load, but at full load it was more noticeable and easily contributes to the overall sound of the room. This one is absolutely impossible to hear until 80%-100% PWM and even then is 2/3 the noise of the CoolerMaster. It keeps my Ryzen cool enough not to warrant full power anyway. Definitely worth scrounging another thirty bucks and passing on the reliable old dog that is the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo.

> 3 dayLove this cooler as it dropped the temps of my cpu by 15 to 20c when gaming and when just watching videos or other apps it never gets over 65c. My comp used to hit 85c on some games and now stays below 70c 95% of time.

> 3 dayI just installed this in a new build, and when I went to power the machine on, I pushed the power button and waited, and said aloud is this even on?, thinking that because I couldnt hear anything, the machine was off. Not the case - the fan is just that quiet. A later thermal stress test showed that it has absolutely no problems cooling an AMD Ryzen 5 3700.

> 3 dayI bought this to try to help my day old Ryzen 5 1600x build. I initially used my tried and true Hyper 212 Evo (with AM4 bracket ordered from CoolerMaster). For what its worth, the 212 made very weak contact with the CPU with the AM4 bracket. It also reached 88C in Prime 95 at stock 3.6ghz clocks. Fast forward, looked into something new (not interested in liquid cooling for this build), and this Noctua caught my attention. Install, as in other reviews, is really pretty damn easy. AM4 kit was included along with clear instructions. SOOOO much easier than messing with that stupid X thingee for the 212. It has as solid pressure on the CPU as you dare to make. Thermal paste is included, but I used the AS5 I just got. Anyway, long story short, now Im running overclocked at 4Ghz, and it only hit 64C on the same Prime 95 test. Its pretty much twice as expensive as any other CPU cooler Ive ever had, but worth it! Possible downside for some, the really ugly fan color, but even with a windowed case, mine is in a partially enclosed desk, so I dont see it anyway. Low temps are way more important to me than colors or RGB stuff. Oh yeah, and its the quiestest heatsink Ive ever had in my 20 years of CPU builds.
