Especially on warmer days, it would sit there making a fairly annoying whining sound, so it was finally time to do something else. As soon as you open the box, the NH-U12 is impressive, with the parts arranged in smaller boxes. The mounting kit had a page of instructions for the 1150 socket with well-written, clear instructions and illustrations.

> 3 dayThe best of the best. Lets me run my i5 750 at 4.2Ghz, temps never go higher than 60C. Thats amazing, as my old cooler (Artic Freezer 11) would hit 74c at 2.8 Ghz. Quiet, super-high quality, easy to install. Very pleased with purchase, would buy again.

Greater than one weekPerfetto! Raffredda anche troppo bene il mio i5 8400 (Max 65 gradi con ventola al 100% in estate con stanza sui 28 gradi e 34 gradi in idle con ventola al 30%). Mi è piaciuto il sistema di montaggio facile e l’ottimo set all’interno. Si può pure ruotare di 90 gradi. È ampio e prende un po’ di posto in un mid tower ma non ai livelli dei suoi fratelli maggiori. Lo ricomprerei altre mille volte.

Greater than one weekRecently I re-positioned my tower machine from lying on its side to standing, the way a tower is intended. My previous CM unit which I paid one-third of the price for this, started immediately performing poorly and I noticed that the plastic plugs to hold it to the motherboard were folded and not all intact.
