Temp sensors never get out of the 60s when the CPU utilization is running at 100%. It is tall. I had to remove the side panel on the case, but not a problem.

Emballage très bien conçu, complet (pâte thermique de qualité incluse et tous accessoires fournis), facile à installer, aucun soucis avec la ram. Le plus important : refroidit très bien en silence (2éme ventilateur possible) et garantie de 6 ans ! Mon boîtier n’est pas vitré donc je me fiche de la couleur qui, finalement, n’est pas si moche ;-). Existe en noir cela dit.

lho acquistato perché il mio i7 970 raggiungeva quasi sempre i 100° per fare conversioni da dvd ad mp4 con nero 15, ma anche in altre situazioni, ieri sono riuscito a montarlo e ho fatto una sola prova ma la temperatura non ha superato i 50°.

Ive used only a total of three coolers since I made my PC, but this one produces the lowest temperatures, with literally NO noise most of the time. Ive known that Noctua makes top of the line coolers for a while, but for some reason Ive put off getting one until my stock cooler started to buzz. Im glad I went with a Noctua. The installation was very fast and easy, mounting is sturdy, and its super easy to clean the fan because you can detach it in seconds without having to take the whole cooler out. This also allows you to vacuum out the heatsink without removing the cooler. This is THE cooler I would recommend for someone who wants the best performance for the price.

It is fairly big, it doesnt affect the ram at all, and the video cards have no issues with the size either, the cards are Nvidia Gtx 680 classifieds so you know they are fairly large for video cards. Im also using an ASUS V. Maximus Extreme motherboard and I have no spacing issues with the size either. You can check out the Noctua website to find if your motherboard is compatible and if their CPU coolers will cause any spacing problems. Very informative lists on their website, and Im very pleased with the performance of this cooler. Also for the price its a very good cooler worth every penny.
