The Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown) is a big unit with BIG FANS! For some motherboards this unit will not fit depending on layout. Also if your cable management is not top notch your CPU cooling performance will suffer. Keeping a CPU cool is more about the free movement of air into and out of the case once the fans do their work. CPU cooling is about fans working together to move air through the case.

> 3 daythis thing preforms better than i expected. keeps my PC 30-35C when idling and around 45-55C when gaming. I dont overclock my PC if you do your results might be different. theres really no noise difference that i noticed its pretty quiet.

> 3 dayit comes neatly packaged, parts for AMD and Intel motherboards, its heavy, its massive, its easy to install, comes with thermal paste and a decent screwdriver, good instructions, fits easily in the Fractal Design R5 case, so far it is keeping the AMD FX 9590 cpu nice and cool but i havent tested it under heavy load yet.
