> 24 hourGoing to be short. Great quality on packaging from Noctua; easy to install; especially if you looked youtube installation videos; took 30 mins with my small screw ups but overall really easy; just need patience and smart planning.

> 24 hourI usually struggle to find the right air cooler. I was even considering doing water cooling this time around.

> 24 hourI thought the Cooler Master EVO 212 would be enough for my new I7-9700K build! Even with upgraded fan(s) the CPU was pushing the mid 80c range. I replaced the EVO 212 with the NH-D15 and now I over clock to 5.1 Ghz and keep the temperature near 70c. Since I had already purchased memory that was too tall to fit under the front fan area, I simply used a Naoctua 120mm fan instead of the larger one that comes with the D15 on the front. Great cooler so far!

> 24 hourCools my i7 7700k adequately (26-31oC idle, 45-50oC load, stock speeds). This does fit in a Cooler Master Masterbox 5 case and with the Asus Z-170A motherboard. The caveat is that you can only use the center fan, as additional A15 fans would run into either the RAM on one side or the IO panel on the other. To address this, I replaced the 2nd A15 fan with a 120mm fan.

> 24 hourOK Im going to start with my setup as this is a huge cooler and any help I can give I think will help anyone! ASUS M5A97 R2.0 motherboard, AMD FX8350 4.0GHZ cpu (arctic mx4 thermal paste), 2X 4GIG FX HYPERFURY DDR3 RAM, PALIT GTX970 reference gpu and a corsair RM850 gold edition power supply all installed in a NZXT phantom410, The cooler is fantastic cant tell you the ambient temperature of the room but my cpu at idle went from 42 degrees Celsius with a cooler master hyper 212 (which is a fantastic cooler) to 37 degrees Celsius for NH-D15 Fitting could not of been easier, but it does require the standard mounting backplate from the stock cooler. fans are silent with no more than a hum at full 100% running! Now I love this cooler BUT if I had a slightly smaller case or slightly higher profile ram, it would fit but I would have to take off the fan to the right as it sits on top of the ram and hard up against the window of the case, so any ram I want to add/remove I will have to remove to cooler 1st, also as the cooler sits so close to the top of the case it is kind of necessary to remove the top panel (on this case anyway) to secure the fans properly. it doesnt cover the 1st pci slot but it is close. I have attached pictures for as much help as I can give, Please keep your opinions of my pc to yourself good or bad as this is a review of the cooler nothing more! any questions I will answer as best I can

> 24 hourSeriously surprised by the performance of this cooler. At load, my 7700k at 4.8Ghz reaches a maximum of 76C (ambient 28C) Huge step up in performance from my previous cooler, a Corsair H60 AIO. Managed to fit both fans inside my Fractal Design Define mini c with Crucial Ballistix Sport LT ram. However, this being my first big air cooler. Ill admit that the installation process took a lot longer than I would have liked. To anyone who buys this cooler, Id advice that you connect all top cables to your motherboard (fans, cpu power, etc) BEFORE installing the cooler.
