> 3 dayJust received this cooler. Mounting brackets and thermal paste missing. Bag for one of the parts had already been opened. Product was apparently purchased and returned. Luckily the parts missing were for intel and I have my own paste so I was able to install it on my amd. Expected better from a company like Noctua. Will be the last time I purchase one of their products.

> 3 dayI have a ryzen 1700 at 3.8ghz with 1.375 volts running folding@home at high load for months now with temps around 80c. You can imagine without this cooler my PC would thermal throttle or freeze. At stock setting I didnt go over 65c at 100 percent usage and BTW I have all my fans at low rpm.

> 3 daySecond Noctua cooler I own, and its even better than the first one. Mounted on a 5950x and it cools it adequately even when all cores running at full blast. I have a large case, and it needs it, but I think thats the only way to make air cooling effectively work.

> 3 dayThe best cooler on the market, hands down. My Ryzen 7 5800X runs below 80° Celsius and never gets throttled when Im doing highly CPU intensive tasks like rendering 3D projects or running games. CPU stays in the low 70° while gaming. It was surprisingly easy to install, especially since I was upgrading from another Noctua AM4 cooler and already had the main CPU socket bracket installed. Cant go wrong with the big D15!! Also its INSANELY quiet!!

> 3 dayJust bought this to replace a NH-D15S I just bought to use with a 3950X. Pieced together a system at a B&M store and that was the best air cooler they had in stock so I took it home. Didnt want to look at a brown fan anymore so I got this beautiful black thing with dual fans.

> 3 dayThe main drawback is that you might have trouble fitting this into your computer. I certainly had to modify the case slightly, only install the main fan (without the optional one) and the clearance with my GPU is insane to a point that taking the system apart will be like picking a lock thats surrounded by knives.

> 3 dayI have this cooler paired with my AMD 5900X, and so far, I am impressed with the thermal performance. It idles around 30C, and Ive never seen it go higher then 65C during my stress tests. The fans are quite silent, compared to the ones that come with my case. Installation was fairly straight forward, I will have to warn the reader that, it is a very tight squeeze; I say dont bother with any RGB memory sticks, as the fan obstructs the view, so set the low profile ones. Also be sure that your case can house the tower, it was a close call for mine.
