> 3 dayWhen I recently built my first gaming PC, I built it knowing that I would get this CPU cooler from Noctua. Ive got it cooling an Intel i7 12700k CPU, and it seems to be doing a great job. I hear the fans spin up initially when the entire system comes on, but after that, I dont really hear them. The cooler is massive and pretty much covers half of the motherboard. I went with low profile RAM from Corsair, and the fan on the right side clears it just fine and the case can still be closed without any issues.

> 3 dayThe only bad thing I can say about the installation of this cooler is that its hard to get the fans lined up right so they dont sit on your RAM modules, however, thats something one can plan for and my not even be an issue depending on what motherboard you have. This is an amazing cooler. I was running a Corsair Hydro H60 series 1 and my resting temps were about 38-40c, with load temps about 55-60c. With this Noctua, my idle temps are at about 32c, and under load I only get up to about 39-41c. I couldnt be happier.

28-10-2024Works great. If you have tall ram like I do youll have to use a 120 mm fan on the front. it wont fit the 140. So I swapped out the 2 140s and used 2 120 fans. The thing keeps my 5900x cool! would buy again. Would recommend it to anyone that has a case that it will fit if you do not want to go with an aio.

> 3 dayI recently did a case swap, and I decided to retire my old AIO and go for an all black look this time. I decided to go with what many people say is the best air cooler, and the NH-D15 is a well built chonker. It is very easy to install, and it keeps my temps on par with what my prior Corsair AIO could do.

> 3 dayI had a 120mm aio in my system previously and it wasnt cutting it and finally ended up dying, so I got this air cooler, and the results are amazing! With an i9-9900k running at 4.8ghz, it rarely ever gets above 70C. Id definitely recommend this cooler to anyone running powerful cpus

> 3 dayIt fit perfectly in my mastercase mc 500 and obsidian 500D with ballistic max memory. Couldnt close the case with Corsair vengeance pro rgb on the 500D. A smaller fan over the ram would of solved this issue. Ran quiet never had any heat issues when gaming

> 3 dayInstalled this beast and its so quiet and it keeps your CPU temps very low. I have a 10700k and the highest ive seen it go is 50 c, average underload im in 40s.... thats with the fans not even cranked up that much. crazy value for what you get

> 3 daySuoer quiet, due to size it can be a bit difficult to install for anyone trying their first build but great investment
