Noctua NF-S12A PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)

Needed to replace a noisy stock rear Case Fan. This was our, Go To brand of choice. Connected directly to Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 Motherboard. Satisfied with Air Volume vs Noise. This Fan should outlast this PC System Build!

Easily cool down my 10070 even at 260 ppm. And fits my MATX motherboard perfectly.

Just installed this on my PC , my last fan wasnt that loud but i could hear it while i was working in my office which annoyed me , this fan is barely audible ,, love it , glad a spent the extra few dollars , well worth it.

Senza dubbio le migliori ventole presenti sulla piazza, che senza dubbio si fanno sentire in termini di spesa. Muovono un sacco di aria, a distanza di anni sono ancora silenziosissime e se proprio non vi piace il marroncino tipico di Noctua potete sempre prendere le colorazioni differenti a un leggero sovrapprezzo. La qualità si paga, ma in compenso non esistono alternative più prestanti per il mercato consumer.

Been using this brand for the last 8 years, no issues. I was expecting 19db rated to be silent, but a low wind can be heard.

Amazing nearly silent (I have to put my head up to the fan to even hear it) with a long warranty this should be the only fan you ever have to buy

How can anyone complain about this fan? They probably installed it incorrectly so it runs at max rpm all the time (1200 rpm). I installed using 4-pin PWM. This fan is so quiet I cant hear it when it runs between 600-1200 rpm depending on my computers load. I now hear my refrigerator or environmental noises more. Ive included a video, its quiet even with the case side panel removed. In fact I believe my power supply fan is more audible, I may have to upgrade the PSU next. I attached this fan to my case and use it as an exhaust fan. I still cant get over the build quality of this fan, its very well engineered and seems built to last.

I was unsure what to expect, when I purchased four NF-A14 PWM units and four NF-S12A PWM units for my development rig - which is an i7-4930K on a Sabertooth X79, housed in a Corsair Carbide 500R. All I knew, though, was that the stock fans on the case were obnoxiously loud and, likely, not as effective as they could be.

Se non la conoscete Noctua è forse la miglior azienda di ventole e dissipatori ad aria per il mercato pc e le sue ventole possono essere utilizzate perfettamente anche su altri dispositivi. Le ventole in questione, come mi aspettavo, sono formidabili e principalmente sono state scelte per il migliore impatto acustico del modello(non che gli altri modelli siano da meno)perché utilizzate come ventole aggiuntive nel case. Inudibili. Il packaging è eccellente con tutto quello che vi serve per collegarle, come cavo splitter e low noise che tiene a rpm più bassi la ventole per un silenzio maggiore(in realtà per questo modello secondo me non ce nè bisogno) e inoltre le viti sono autofilettanti quindi fate attenzione quando le inserite perché non cè il filetto nel frame. Detto questo sono ovviamente straconsigliate se vi serve il modello con minor impatto acustico, altrimenti se vi serve più portata daria scegliete altro ma sempre Noctua
