> 3 dayOverpriced and overrated. At one point this name stood for something...it no longer does. Manufacturing inconsistencies which lead to hum and buzz throughout rpm range. I paid for silent fans and next time Ill pay someone else.

Greater than one weekI replaced the stock fan on my radiator with two of these in a push/pull configuration. Im moving over twice the air with about the same noise level. The ability to tune the flow/noise levels with the different connectors let me dial in the amount of air I needed without the excess noise. Now Im hoping the other fans in my case will die, so I can replace them with more of these. They may be pricey, but theyre quieter and more durable than sleeve bearing fans, so they pay for themselves in the long run.

> 3 dayIch berücksichtige mit meinen 3 Sternen jenen Anwender, dem die Lautstärke nur zweitrangig wichtig ist und vor allem auf den Druck achtet. Ich war jedoch ehrlich gesagt über die Lautstärke erschrocken, da ich für den halben Preis auch hätte einen Scythe Lüfter kaufen können mit derselben Umdrehungszahl, und natürlich deutlich weniger Druck, den ich aber für die Gehäuseentlüftung nicht wirklich brauche (ich möchte indirekt meine Spannungswandler kühlen und habe deshalb diesen Noctua mit guten Luftdruck gewählt). Sonst hätte ich nämlich 1 oder 2 Sterne gegeben, was dann allein auf die Lautstärke Bezug nimmt. Das betrifft sowohl die 7 Volt Einstellung als auch 12 Volt.

> 3 dayI brought this to replace the fans on my PC case, this has to be the quietest fan I’ve used, when I first powered it up from the noise it was making I thought it was at half speed, but no it was at full! When used with fan control software you only really hear it if your system is under load.
