> 3 dayI ended up returning this fan. And it’s too bad, noctua really makes you feel like your getting a quality product. I have a lot of their other products. I had a dell precision T1700 in a custom case and that system with a fan adapter refused to see this fan, so I just used some cheap sleeve bearing Rosewill fan and had no problem. I even tried a redux 1700rpm noctua fan and it too had issues. I think the Precision T1700 and Optiplex 7020/9020 just doesn’t like PWM fans. But if you have any other normal computer with a normal motherboard I Will guarantee you that this fan will work, and you will love it.

> 3 dayIve got 2 of these so far and cant rate them highly enough. They are faster, quieter and easier to use than the ones my case came with, and come with a great set of extras. I especially liked the fact they came with the Y-cable - my motherboard only supports 4 PWM fans, but with the Y-cable I can now consider getting a case that supports many more fan slots. Once I get a better case, I will be getting another 4 of these :)
