> 24 hourThe compactness and power is good and the price is fair but maybe a little inflated. Ive heard their regional quality can be wanting too so I hope noctua does a better job with that. This fan, however, is pretty quiet as I dont have it in a 4 pin slot.

> 24 hourBought 2 for some extra cooling to the hard drive area of the Cooler Master HAF XB. I guess theyre working and quiet. Cant hear them over the battery backup in the same rack as the computer. Im glad the fans are on the inside of the machine and on the back of it because like every other Noctua fan, theyre ugly as sin. Came well-packaged and with multiple different connectors/extensions and mounting hardware.

> 24 hourThis is the quietest fan Ive ever used - dead silent, in fact; however, the reason its so quiet is that it doesnt spin. When the computer starts, the fan spins for less than a second then does nothing, no matter how warm the computer gets. Ive tried several other fans on the same MB header, all work. The other fans are noisier than Id like, which is why I ordered this one. If, however, the tradeoff for a quieter computer is overheating, Ill endure the noise.

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
