> 3 dayThe fan I was delivered had no damage to the box, yet the fan was not as quiet as the factory cooling fan on my old dell xps8700.

Greater than one weekI replaced a cpu fan in Thinkcentre M93p. It works, but fails POST, as lenovos motherboard does not support zero rpm mode that this fan has, giving the two beeps and cpu fan error. Or something else might be the issue, but that is why I took down one star. Other than that, it is a great fan, silent, and with good airflow.

11-11-2024As usual Noctuas quality doesnt disappoint. Most 80mm are just simply too weak. The NF-A8 moves air similar to a 120mm fan and its probably because of the max 2200 rpm speed, but its quiet at high speeds!

> 3 dayThis review is for both the 92mm and 80mm versions of this model, 4-wire units with speed controlled by the motherboard.

> 3 dayI bought a 92mm and 80mm Noctua case fan and so far it really made a difference in terms of noise reduction. I switch Noctua fan with my old one and i thought my PC died on start up because of the sudden drop of noise after 1-2 second of starting up. I can actually hear what is happening inside my PC now due to the fan being almost dead silent.

10-11-2024I bought two of these to replace the cheap fans in my rackmount case. Not only are these Noctua fans well engineered and designed they are dead quiet. I used the rubber mounting grommets that are shipped as an install option in lieu of the metal screws. This really helps reduce any vibration noise on the case. Noctua products are simply hard to beat.
