> 3 dayI do a lot of audio and video recording in my office and have noticed a computer hum in some recordings. After doing some research I found out about these fans which as supposed to reduce noise. I pulled my computer apart to find out what I needed and ordered the replacement fans. They came in two days and I installed them. They looked good and fit perfectly, but I have been disappointed with the results. The noise isnt any better than it was with the original factory fans. I went through all that work for no change. So Im going to have to pursue a different and more drastic sound dampening approach. I wouldnt waste your time with these so called silent fans!

> 3 dayEste pequeño ventilador de 8cm es perfecto para esos gabinetes que lo requieren, nunca me habia tocado usar uno siempre los de 12 o 14cm pero esta vez para dos proyecto que usan un chassis mas pequeño me toco buscar este modelo y genial que sea PWM. The NF-A8 is a highly optimised, premium quality quiet 80mm fan. Featuring Noctua’s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame as well as sophisticated aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A8 further improves the renowned quiet cooling performance of the award-winning NF-R8. The PWM version sports Noctua’s custom designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin fan headers and comes with a Low-Noise-Adaptor to reduce the maximum speed during PWM control from 2200 to 1750rpm. AAO frame

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
