> 3 dayIt runs super quiet, cool, and compact enough to fit in my raspberry pi 4 case while overclocked a little bit. But a problem showed up when I mounted it in the vertical position, it fails to start and tries spinning repeatedly when booting the pi most times. Giving it a gentle nudge will start it running and keep it running, but any time it stops it wont start on its own again.

Greater than one weekReplaced a worn fan in a cctv recorder box with a vanilla replacement from maplin. It worked well and moved a lot of air, but really made a racket - too much. I bought this looking at the db levels, and Noctua is known for quiet fans. It was more than double the cost of the maplin vanilla, but I just needed this sorted. Fan arrived quickly really smartly packaged with a range of adaptors and some useful rubber mounting pegs. I used the 2 pin adaptor and quickly installed the fan - and... tbh the noise difference was pretty incredible. Really impressed. A key things seem to be every contact point with the chassis its mounted to is insulated by rubber pads and tbh the bearing is prob just really well made / balanced - barely any noticeable viration even touching the fan casing. I think it moves a very tiny bit less air - so perhaps drop on rpm prob helps it too. Either way - Im very pleased with this buy.

> 3 dayThis is a great fan to place in small htpc cases. Despite the small size (small fans are usually very loud), it is so quiet, its hard to tell if the htpc is even on.

> 3 dayI can buy a fan for $5,$6,$7 on Ebay, whatever it is.... Ok so been there done that, in reality they do not last long, and are not as efficient as this fan. This fan will fit virtually any application you will use it for.

Reduced motor hub size
