> 3 dayPractically noiseless and very efficient. I installed it on heat sink of my LSI MegaRAID SAS 9260-8i RAID controller. With this fan the temperature is always about 40-45C, while without it the temperature is 70-90C. I hear almost nothing when it works at its maximum speed 4500 rpm (without low noise adapter). Also it is very well constructed. I really like this fan.

> 3 dayHad a noisy ethernet switch that was making my home office unbearably noisy. Swapped the two fans out with two of these. Install was super easy. Included adapters are awesome and one included cable is a low noise filter that lowers fan RPMs a bit. And build quality is excellent.

> 3 dayI was very impressed with the packaging, quality and all the multiple adapters that came with this unit for the price...however, with all these added components (and I love the low noise adapter idea/adapter) the black 3 pin connector it comes with is too large for the boards female white connection in my DS411+. So...I had to clip the existing white 3 pin connector from my old fan and the new black 3 pin one from the new fan and join them manually to make this work. Not a deal-breaker and worked nicely, but took more time, unreturnable damage and work...hence the 4 star review. I wanted to also note that I did not receive any CPU fan alerts from my server as someone else noted...he said he just disabled the alert...which is not a good idea lol. Otherwise...this unit is stellar! I added a photo of the 3 pin and two pin it comes with...the 3 pin in my server is about the size of their 2 pin for reference

> 3 dayI bought this to use on the hot end of my 3D printer. This thing is silent! It does not move as much air as the siren it came with but it moves enough to keep it adequately cool. Seriously, you can only barely hear this fan. So now the loudest thing on my printer are the steppers.
