> 24 hourThis item is made well and would work fine for some applications. However, for our use it is too narrow and too short. Make sure you read the dimensions before ordering.

> 24 hourIt’s the right size for a hamster bridge. It is bendable, sturdy, and my hamster has no problem walking over it.

> 24 hourHamster loves Cheng and climbing on it. Bends easily as advertised and holds position. Can also work as a barricade by putting it on its side

> 24 hourThis ladder is made of some kind of fir or pine, which is toxic for mice. It seems to be sturdy and well made and I am sure they would enjoy playing on it, but mice also need to be able to chew on their toys in order to keep their front teeth short and healthy. This wood could harm them. They need “clean” woods like birch, willow, elm, or maple, or else fruit woods like apple or cherry. I will not risk the health of my mice by giving them this toy.

> 24 hourToday my sons hamsters leg was caught in the ladder and basically de-gloved his leg and paw. We are devastated and had to put the little guy to rest. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Please do not put these in your hamsters cage.

> 24 hourI have part of my hamster tank lined with sand held in by a strip of wood, I use this as a bridge for her to get out. She loves running across it and I often see her sitting on top of it as a little lookout.

> 24 hourAt first I thought these were going to be similar to the one I already had, but they were a lot smaller. But I have come to like them much better. It gives my hammy more room and because they are smaller he doesnt pee all over them like my old bigger one.... Lol...Seems to be fairly sturdy and I have not had any issues with the one I have. I recently put it in and have not had a need to clean it, so I cant say how well it holds up to cleaning. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product.

> 24 hourI like these wood bridges because they can either make nice hides, they can be use to make levels inside a hamster cage, and it can be used to separate different substrates. The only few issues I have with them is that the gaps are so big in some of these, that hamsters can get their poor little feet stuck and seriously injured on these either when they are used for bridges or separators. I just use mine as a hide, or a base for his food to sit on flat. My other issue is that they use metal to hold these bridges together, and some even come with hooks to put on a cage like encloser. Hamsters like to chew, and mine just happens to like chewing on these bridges. If a hamster were to chew these the wrong way or on the metal, it can seriously injure their teeth. I have mine with the hooks either taken out or buried partially in the bedding so its not exposed. Im also keeping an eye on how far down the chewing goes, so I can remove the wood before he even hits the metal inside.
