A must have item for a hamster’s enclosure. A versatile item. I’ve heard of placing moss in between the openings, but I don’t know if it is absolutely necessary. Both my Syrian and dwarf hamsters have no problem using it as a bridge or a ladder.

Not good for hamsters as they can get wood slivers in their feet like ours did.

It’s very sturdy, and the metal is very flexible so you can bend it into whichever form you’d like. There came no instructions so I had to figure out that I had to do the work and bend the slab of wood hah. My rats don’t seem to want to bite it. And that’s a bit disappointing, however they use it to walk in their little cage, and considering it’s design and the quality I’m overall glad I bought this product.

This item is made well and would work fine for some applications. However, for our use it is too narrow and too short. Make sure you read the dimensions before ordering.

Hamster loves Cheng and climbing on it. Bends easily as advertised and holds position. Can also work as a barricade by putting it on its side
