27-10-2024Excellent size and structure design. Easy to build, the taping can be tricky but you could use alternative sealing methods but they could prevent you from taking it apart in the future. My lid fully closed perfectly but my left front side was slightly off and wouldn’t screw together tightly but it’s not noticeable and the tape seals it inside. Way better than any enclosures I’ve tried and I’ve tried them all!

> 3 daySo this was pretty easy to set up with two people. Getting this massive cage for a hamster is probably the best move you can do to buy a commercial cage designed just for hamsters. All of those itty bitty cages at the pet store should never be sold and be considered animal abuse. This cage is far from that. Your hamster is able to have deep areas to burrow, explore and run around in this cage. 100% would recommend this incredible cage to anyone who is serious about owning a hamster!

> 3 dayLove the look of this cage! Very spacious and was fairly easy to assemble. One thing we dont love is the hinging when you open and close the case, especially when closing. It doesnt just close. It seems to get stuck and you have to move it side to side until its in a perfect place to close all the way. Other than that, though, we love it!

> 3 dayThe white one is the 47inch and the burly wood is the 40in. The cage was pretty self explanatory. There are instructions in the box to reference. They supplied these circle stretchy bands to attach to the puzzle parts. Some of them broke but they give you extras in the bag. I love this Night Angel better than the other cage thats not angled. Its definitely worth the investment if you want to provide the right amount of space for your hammie. A good spacious environment is a happy hamster.

02-11-2024The only problem I have is for the price of this cage the wood should be thicker it seems very flimsy but other than that I love the style and we’ll see how my little mouse does in his new cage it was also really easy to put together

Greater than one weekThe minimum recommended size cage for hamsters (any species) is 450in² (1143cm) The 32.9x17.2x21.1 cage sq inch is 565.92in² (1437.4cm) The 40.7x22.7x22.9 cage sq inch is 931.68in² (2366.4cm) Which is x2 the recommended size. The 47.1x22.7x26.9 cage sq inch is 1068.48in² (2713.9cm) Which is x2.37 the recommended size. There is no Maximum recommended size, the bigger the happier. With the two larger cages you could split the cage in half and have two hamsters in one box. This enclosure allows for more than 3 inches of substrate (below-recommended minimum) Personal experience: My cage was very quick to set up with only a few broken bands. they gave me around 8 or so extra bands so it was no worry. One thing to keep in mind is the fact they use acrylic for the side panels which means if you use paper bedding you WILL have static issues. (however, this means you can remove some dust from the bedding by wiping down the sides) Assembly/ Setup: This tank is very easy to assemble. I put mine together quietly and quickly. If you are movement restricted I can see this being a little hard but doable by yourself or with some help. In the set up they gave you paper tape to waterproof the edges of the tank. This of course will not actually be waterproof, resists water at best. I do recommend putting the tape in as it will stop bedding and possibly little fingers from slipping in the cracks. tl;dr this is the best cage by size, assembly, and visibility I can find for a decent price on the market.
