I got this for my 2 male rats cage. I was expecting a hammock that looked like what was in the pic. Nope.. the 1 received, the bottom half hung a lot lower then what pic looked like it would. Which made it too big to use on my boys cage. And was ready to send it back w a bad review. LUCKY.. My daughter has a huge Critter Nation Rat cage. She has about 12+female rats. She removed the smaller 3 section Hammock and put the bigger hammock there. Rats LOVE it. They see how many can pile in both the upper and lower sections of it. So while It is not the Style the pic shows and buyer needs to beware.. it should only receive 1 star in my opinion. Im giving it 3 cause my daughters Rats Love it and it does work for them.

This hammock is fine, I have two ferrets they fit just fine and loved it. About 3 days ago over night they decided to lay on the interior and scratch at the roof of the hammock. That’s fine okay whatever it happens, but it’s FILLED with something along the lines of styrofoam. I wanted to warn everyone because I came out to styrofoam bits everywhere (again fine it went around whatever) but I’ve been carefully watching them since we all know that if they were to have ate some at all it could be deadly. Keep an eye on the roof of the hammock, i don’t know if mine did it over night our had been working at it for awhile. I’ve had other hammocks they’re either just fabric or canvas etc. yes they can eat or wreck anything i know this, but this is the only one I’ve found filled with styrofoam. Just be careful, I would hate for someone to lose their fur baby over this.

People say that it’s too big but I think it’s perfect! It can probably hold up to 4 rats, maybe even more. But if you have the bare minimum rats like me, then this is still great. It doesn’t take up too much space and it’s really soft. Very sturdy and thick.

Bought for our 4 pet rats. They love it but they chew thru it fairly quickly. Probably not the hammocks fault however. But they do love it.

This hammock is the perfect size for rats! Maybe a ferret or two. It clips right to the cage and I havent had any difficulties with it yet.

After 2 weeks, the hammock is shredded with Styrofoam pieces everywhere. Dont let the positive reviews lead you astray to buy this item. Machine washable is only good if your hammock isnt shredded to pieces.
