My hamster loves to burrow so before this purchase he would always sleep underground. However, after I placed it in his cage he took a few days to move from under his burrow into this chamber hide and this is his new sleeping place!

Too small for Syrians

My syrian hamster absolutely loves this hide. I got him as a baby and thought it was way too big, but as hes gotten older, Im glad I planned ahead so he could grow into it. He spends the time he isnt running on his wheel in the compartment farthest from the door where he stashes his food in one corner and uses another for the bathroom.

My hammie loves this house! It fits perfectly in his 50 gallon (200 qt) bin cage, and it gives him a room for food, a room for the toilet, and a room to sleep, two rooms have doors (one in front and one on top, and in the sixth room I put fresh shredded toilet paper for him to add to his nest in his sleeping room whenever he wants. It’s well built and comes with sandpaper, though I didn’t need it because all the edges were smooth. I only put his Niteangel wheel (love that, too!) and a large flat rock (under the water bottle) on the lid so it’s easy to open when I need to clean the toilet area. My hammie and I agree this house is worth the investment!

I ended up buying two of these so that way when I clean one, I can put the other one in and get it setup quickly for my hamster. They’re not the best to clean. It can be a pain. I have to scrub it down in my bathtub with gentle non-scented soap. My hamster though loves it! She always makes her sleeping nest in the left corner. Food in the top middle. Potty in the bottom left corner. She’s pretty organized and I would say it’s her perfect home. I just wish it was easier to clean.

Better hideout for my hamster than the previous one. So good, my hamster just spends most of her time hiding in here. Even tried bringing all her chew toys inside. Multiple room makes it easier for her to get a good, dark spot to sleep in. Also makes it easier to spot clean her cage in between full cleanings. Only thing is that its bigger than expected but was more focused on making sure my hamster is able to fit through the holes easier. At least the cage is large enough.
