Rats chew through it in a matter of weeks

I got this for my elderly rat. I recently had to downsize his cage as he is semi blind and over two years old. He doesnt climb as well as he used to so he has a ledge he gets on to get to the inside level of the hammock - he stuffs it with the rags and tissue paper I give him <3 he likes it a lot. I was it with dye and scent free laundry detergent - works just fine! highly reccomend.

My guinea pig just love her new hammock. She used not to like hanging bfore so I always kept her old hammock low. But with this one it doesnt bother her high up hanging and she seems to be so comfy. Great material.

My baby boys LOVE this. This is their go-to for “hanging” out. It is very simple to clean, and has held up nicely. It is big enough for at least 2 grown chinchillas!

My two rats love this hammock, it the only one they have ever really liked. I wash it weekly and after 6 months of use, it still looks brand new (minus a few rat nibbles). Bigger than expected but works perfectly in my double critter nation. I recently bought the matching tunnel and that works great as well.

I will admit that I have had to buy these multiple times because my rats keep chewing the old ones up, but overall I think that its a pretty good hammock. Its definitely harder to clean than some of the other hammocks Ive had but I also like the material and how thick it is. Its especially useful when it gets cold and my rats need somewhere to snuggle. To clean I usually soak it in a tub with vinegar and water to get rid of the pee smell because my rats like to pee there sometimes. Overall, I think that its a pretty good hammock for rats but a word of caution because most rodents like to chew things so it might get wrecked pretty quickly.

My ferret absolutely loves this! Its held together better than the other hammocks Ive gotten for her. Ive had it for six months so far and its still in perfect condition. The fact that they can chose to sleep on top of or inside is also very nice. I live in a colder area where on occasion the house can get a little nippy and she just goes right on the inside. Supper soft to the touch as well. Would 110% recommend to any friends. Ive seen the bad reviews as well but honestly Ive had no such problems and if youre nervous about it just keeping an eye on things should do the trick.
