> 24 hourSturdy and seems comfortable for cat use to scratch and lounge or sleep. My cat loves this and uses this daily. Regular size fits perfectly. Definitely would recommend this.

> 24 hourMy boys tore the center up and out. By center I mean the core of actually glued cardboard which is then connected to a ribbon of cardboard that makes an even better cat toy lol. Walked in to two cats playing with the giant cardboard snake they made out of this scratcher. So it lasted all of a week and the replacement pads are pricey as well so Ill cut my losses here. I almost returned it but its just a slight design flaw if you have little beasties disguised as cutie-ooties that destroy toys as well.

> 24 hourMy main complaint is similar to most others -- the fact that the entire thing is made out of paper (cardboard). It also seems somewhat expensive because of this, and the refills seem overpriced. It works well though, and so far is holding up. My two cats enjoy both using it as to scratch, as well as laying on it.

> 24 hourThe interior part came apart , when I slightly touched it. Unfortunately my cat didn’t get a chance to use this a long time . However I like that it is earth friendly and that a pillow can be placed inside it ( I had a hard time finding the pillow that is advertised on the label of the bowl, so I never got a chance to buy it while my pet was still here alive on earth ) .

> 24 hourI have two cats and they fought over this so I bought two. I’ve had the first one for 4-5 years and it still looks new. They scratch on them then sleep or lounge. Even better, I’m picky about how my house looks and these are tasteful not tacky.

> 24 hourWe have the standard size on already, but our 17 lb, 1 yr old Ragdoll outgrew it. He loves the size and doesnt hang over the sides unless he wants to.

> 24 hourWe have had a few different designs of cardboard scratchers for our cat. He really only likes the ones that are shaped like bowls, so finding this one made me so happy. There is only one other kind that is shaped like a bowl and it has 4 legs that are hot-glued on. Those legs always came off so easily. This one is so much more sturdy. I like that the base is reusable. Our cat loves it. He scratches in it and then likes to lounge in it too.

> 24 hourThere are some things that are really great about this - the fact that you can replace the interior bowl insert is the best. I was a little disappointed that the exterior wasnt more attractive and a bit sturdier. After reading the description more carefully, I can see that it doesnt say it has a wood veneer exterior, but I had thought that it did have a bamboo veneer. Instead its just a fake wood pattern pasted onto a thick cardboard, and the edge is all dinged and scuffed, and it looks much cheaper and fake than in the pictures. I was happy to pay 30-ish$ for a permanent wooden bowl with replaceable inserts, but less so to pay so much for something much more easily damaged and more likely to require replacement itself. Im saving it for a christmas present, so I havent given it to my fellow yet, but Im sure it wont matter to him, hell love it anyway!
