> 24 hourI absolutely love these Nalgene water bottles. Made from firm (just barely flexible) very clear plastic, this water bottle is ideal for the hydration conscious person. The bottle offers no flavor to the water added to it, cleans easy, and thanks to how clear it is, you can easily detect when it is time to clean it. I bought a 32oz/1000ml bottle with a slight dark grey tint, and a black cap with a measuring line on the side, that indicates ml and oz very clearly. Durability: This one I purchased was to replace the one Ive used daily for about 4 years. It finally got lost. Ive dropped this new one about one million times in month or so Ive had it. Once off my bike while I was riding down the street. No real markings to show for it and its still water tight. Lid: supper durable and screws tight easily and stays tight. I use the plastic strap that keeps it locked to the bottle as a sort of clip and link it to my backpack by way of clips all the time. Labeling: just like the picture only mine doesnt say everyday on it. I do use it daily, though. Production: Made in the USA all day. Keep the money in the US, keep the economy in the US. Recommendation: Definitely a good buy. Its really just a nice, good looking, boring water bottle that you can rely on for years to come.

> 24 hourQuaity bottle made in the USA. I was hoping itd be something I could stick my hand into for cleaning but its not that big of an opening. The cap screws off for drinking which is fine and the cap stays attached to the bottle securely which I hoped for to hook it to a carabiner.

> 24 hourI love this water bottle for a number of reasons. 1) It shows volume amounts on the side so I can track how much water Im drinking down to the ounce. I love getting into tiny details like this with my routine, so this makes me happy. 2) It only occasionally seems to pick up a weird smell (I only drink water in it) but Im pretty sure this is because I wait so long between thorough washings. It comes out with one good scrub, so yeah cant complain there either. And most importantly 3) I work in an industrial environment, I hike a lot, and I have a cat that loves to knock everything I own off higher surfaces and onto the floor. Combining all of these hazards means this bottle ends of thrown around a lot. I can hear the plastic smashing into the floor, walls, etc. very clearly every time (no small thuds here) but it has barely gotten a scratch much less had any cracking issues. I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of this Nalgene bottle and I am baffled as to why I have never used their products before.

> 24 hourI own both the 32 and 48 oz versions of this and I love having it. Very easy to clean/sterilize and the screw top is very secure. The top itself is so secure that it takes a little effort to unscrew if you do it too tight but even a modest tightening leaves it secure enough that you need not worry about spilling. The plastic connector that keeps the top on is a nice addition which also provides a loop to hold the bottle from though I wouldnt hook it to a carabiner and go walking with it as I suspect it might grow weak after a few months usage. The price is amazing, the look is fantastic, why use anything else. My co-worker says that made in the usa is also a +10 for this product and I reasonably agree. I used to take 1-liter bottles of water to work as we didnt have access to clean water without $$. 15-bottles at 6.2~ from costco poland spring at 1 or 2 a day (5 d/w, 12 m/y) is anywhere between $6-18 p/m depending on frequency. The 48-ounce silo is about 1.5 liter and if you use that (which is like 12$ on amazon) you save the $6-18 after a month or two. Even if you need to replace it due to an accident/loss whatever, you save money.

> 24 hourEverywhere I look, someone is boasting about the popular classic 32 oz. Nalgene bottles. So I figured it was time for me to get one. I ordered the 32 oz. wide mouth in grey/black lid. PROS: + The bottle feels very nice in hand. + Cap has defined ridges on it for a positive grip when opening or closing. + I am not terribly rough with it so I cant say for durability for drops and falls. I imagine that at some point if I were careless enough I could break it but the material feels like thick quality plastic that I cant flex. Its very firm. + I havent run it through a dishwasher yet but cleaning by hand is a breeze because of the wide mouth. + Last but not least, it holds liquids well. CONS: None at the moment. Next I will get the same bottle but with the smaller opening. No fault of Nalgene but sometimes I dont want to feel like I am drinking from a bucket with the wide mouth opening. But this is a preference thing. I am definitely glad that I got one of these bottles finally to see why it is so popular. It holds the perfect amount of water for a lengthy car ride or a small exploratory hike. Definitely a good purchase. Was this review helpful? Please let me know. Thank you. EDIT on 5/23/19: So I have been using this bottle for a bit now and I do enjoy it. Recently, I made a major mistake. I filled the bottle all of the way up and capped it and then wanted to give it a cold shot so I put it in the freezer for 10 minutes. Well, I had gotten side tracked and left it in the freezer for over 24 hours. I didnt leave room for expansion during the freezing process. I didnt know what I would find.... I took it out and I noticed that it was bulging at the bottom. So basically when I stand it up, it teeters and rolls around and easily wants to tip over. I just left it out to acclimate and I was shocked that within 15 minutes as the ice began to melt, the bottom looked normal again. It is still thawing out but it stands up flat again and seems fine. Hopefully no permanent damage was done (i.e.- more fragile against a drop or fall) Gotta say that I was expecting to have to order another but Ill just hang on to this one for a while longer.

> 24 hourAdding my review here because most people seem to review after 3-5 months of use. Im posting a review after 2 years of heavy use! The bottle has successfully survived both hot and cold temperatures for me (from the desert (110F) to cold Alaskan weather (-20F). It is able to handle boiled water well and has been used as a sleeping bag warmer as it lets off heat just slow enough to keep me nice and warm as I fall asleep during sub zero temperatures. As far as durability, the bottle will last you a very long time if you use it in non-gritty environments. Ive used the bottle at home, at work and even at the gym and there wasnt any wear and tear. However, Ive also used it while riding dune buggies, going hiking, doing mud runs, outside rock climbing, accidentally dropping it from a car, etc. It has survived all conditions and is holding strong, albeit all the dings and scratches (which are expected). I have never had an accidental leak either. The cap has been airtight, but shows significant wear and tear. The only real issue Ive had was the aesthetical aspect, but given what Ive put it through, I guess that is expected. Specifically, my bottle shows heavy wear and tear, specifically the measurement marks are completely warn off. Other than that, I was specifically seeking a larger water bottle, so 32 ounces were perfect (38 ounces filled to the brim). Drinking 2.5 of these a day gets you your daily recommended water intake. It also has a surprisingly comfortable grip given its size. Given that, I might have even opted or the taller one that can hold more water. Finally, this water bottle doesnt affect the taste of the liquid at all. Ive used it with RO water, tap water, river water, etc. The taste is as good as it was before. Given the larger cap size, it is fairly easy to clean!

> 24 hourI have had this for about a month now. I bought the Nalgene water bottle for my job as a package handler because standard 16 oz water bottles just dont cut it. This lasts me nearly all day for my 6 hour shift. The wide mouth of the bottle is perfect for filling with ice. The printed graduations on mine are a little bit scuffed up from frequent use but they remain readable enough. For the last few days, I have been attaching carabiner clips to the little stem that connects the cap to the bottle so I can carry it on my belt loop. Im a bit nervous that it will eventually tear off but so far it works fine. I bought it with the guyot splashguard, which is a nice accessory because it helps keep the ice inside the bottle while drinking. That said, it wouldnt kill you if you decided to save your 5 bucks. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bottle condensates. I hadnt really thought of it when I purchased it but it doesnt bother me or disrupt my work so its not a con personally, but it may be a con for other people. Overall, this is pretty nice. > 24 hourIve owned this particular bottle for around a year now, and it seems to be holding up great so far. I have used and abused this bottle, frequently dropping it onto hard surfaces and holding it by that plastic lid strap often. It scratches easy but that is to be expected with a plastic bottle. It will not leak unless you dont twist the lid on properly. Obviously, this is not an insulating bottle. Cooler liquids placed inside will heat up rapidly and hot liquids (dont do that) will cool down quickly. Doesnt bother me, if it did I would have bought a Hydroflask or something. Like all other water bottles, water inside it will develop an odd taste over time due to residues and microbial activity. No surprise there, just an unavoidable fact of life. As for ease of drinking, it can be difficult at times, but thats what I should have expected when I bought a wide-mouthed bottle like this. When in the car, going over even the smallest bump can be disastrous when mid-drink, so you will often need to time your sips to avoid a faceful of water. Of course this could be avoided with getting one of those adapters that fit onto the mouth and neck it down to a more manageable size, or even buying a narrow-necked bottle from Nalgene instead. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

> 24 hourI had to buy this bottle twice, because i left it somewhere and that person never owned up that i left it. Anyhoo. I love this bottle, the wide mouth makes it easy to clean, which i love. However, to be honest it can also be a drag, i have to stop walking at the gym or when im out because if i dont water (or tea) EVERYWHERE! i love that it has the oz and ml on the side, its great to mixing pre workout or post work out if you so must. I also like the color i choose is clear, so i can see easily. The bottle is lightweight, so i also like to travel with it. Take it to the airport empty, fill it up past TSA and ive never had an issue. I actually bought a few years ago all my friends one, when another friend lost hers too (at the gym), she also repurchased. Drink on up
